A beautiful setting in the country, rustic buildings with a modern twist. The pool is perfect and the restaurant underneath the olive trees is an amazing and dreamy experience. We are definitely booking again within the next year or two.

We loved the look and setting of this country mansion hotel which was off the beaten track and yet only 8km from Mahon airport.If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil break look no further than this hotel and I would advise a room within the annexe which have their own private terraces and garden.There is one major plus and one rather disappointing minus.We could not fault the room for cleanliness and comfort however we did feel the dinner and bar area were dull and uninspiring.I would emphasise however that is not true of the breakfast which we both felt were really diverse and tasty from the bread cheese and selection of cold meats to the fresh pastries and bowls of fruit.The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and particular thanks to Susana on reception who organised the hire of a car which I think is essential given the remote location (no shops restaurants or bars within walking distance). Finally a big thank you to Rosa the "safe cracker" / restaurant manager/ jack of all trades.You know who you are, she helped us on our 1st night when the safe would not open!!!

The location is quiet but close to facilities. Great place to unwind and recharge the batteries.

Very peaceful location. Lovely large room with very comfortable bed. Limited mini-bar but it was free. Good breakfast with choices of pastries, bread cheese, meat and fruit; cooked breakfast available as well. My only complaint with the breakfast was the choice of cereals which was limited to chewy cornflakes and a cheap meusli. Evening meals were very good although there were better resturants close by. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Set in the countryside the chalky drive up to the hotel might make you feel you had made a mistake. Arriving in what used to be an old farm yard you walk round the edge of an old barn to behold a handsome house with surrounding converted stables. It is heavenly. We had a superior room but there were alternatives set in the grounds. The large domed room consisted of its original stone walls. A vey large comfortable bed high quality linens etc and everything you could need. Outside was a private patio with sun loungers table etc. The food was glorious. We ate out twice at renouned restaurants but nothing compared with the hotels own food. Meals were taken out in the candle lit olive groves and in the morning in the garden . Throughout the staff were a high point well trained to please but not to overbear . Expensive maybe but we really did get what we paid for. It was heaven. We will go back.

Beautiful rustic rooms, amazing food, lovely staff

Very isolated, which is great for local running / walking. Lots of places very easy to drive to, but worth having a hire car. Swimming pool was lovely. Heated to 29 degrees whilst we were there, our little boy, 3, loved it. Also a lot of wild tortoises and donkeys, which again he loved.

Beautiful hotel with welcoming attentive staff. Three nights was not enough, we are already planning a return visit.
