Breakfast was fine as described.

I feel the hotel is a bit pricey could use a bigger fridge or fridge in the outside area.

Modern amenities with the traditional Balinese charm. Rooms were large, well appointed and comfortable. The swimming pool was much bigger than expected. The villa could easily accommodate 2 couples due to the bathroom facilities being individual to each bedroom.

Small things were showing some age. The Venetian blinds couldn’t be wound closed due to missing or broken winding rods. The separator from wall spout to rain shower wouldn’t engage to enable the rain shower from above. The pool decking was a little uneven in spots, there were a couple of raised screw heads that could cause some harm if not considered when walking around the deck.

The property is in the best location. Close to beach and easy walking access to beach path

Rooms need a few updates, better sun block out blinds and minor updates through the villa’s.

Breakfast was fantastic delivered to your villa and the staff are all amazing 🙏🥂

Our villa backed a busy road so it was so noisy Our toilet kept breaking down and they couldn’t move us as it was full Lucky we had a 2 bedroom villa and we moved into the second room The villa pool was so cold and the whole point of a villa is having the privacy of having our own pool but could hardly use it

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Sanur with plenty of restaurants, shops and amenities within walking distance. The villa itself was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped for our family. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and there was always plenty to eat. Most staff were friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

Areas for Improvement The main pool appeared to be under maintenance for much of our stay. While guests were told it could still be used, the water looked green and uninviting initially, although it improved after being cleaned. The private villa pool was a great size but extremely cold, which limited our use of it. The breakfast ordering system was quite confusing, requiring selections to be completed the day before. With a family group, orders were frequently incorrect despite our efforts to clarify them. A simpler process would improve the guest experience. We also experienced some confusion at check-in regarding our booking, as we were initially asked to pay extra for our child despite the reservation clearly including five guests. This was eventually resolved by management. Our villa was close to a busy road, so there was noticeable traffic noise. A few maintenance issues also needed attention, including loose pool decking and a shower that repeatedly stopped working. Overall, we enjoyed the convenient location, spacious villa and many aspects of our stay. However, a few operational and maintenance issues meant the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. While Villa Mahapala may suit travellers seeking a quieter atmosphere, we would likely choose a different property on our next visit to Sanur.

Fantastic location to Sanur beach front, the new icon and plenty of restaurants. The villa was very private and pool was beautiful. The shower outside was lovely aspect. Breakfast served to the villa every morning was delicious and presentation was lovely.
