Villa Mahapala

Location was fantastic a short stroll to the beach and restaurants and close to the icon mall. Villa was comfortable and the pool made it so relaxing.

Internet was patchy at times and some lights didn’t work.

Communication from the offset was great. The team were quick to respond to my questions and even permitted a slightly earlier check in. We were greeted by a happy, warm and welcoming team who continued this level of service throughout. The villa is ideally placed for those wanting to walk along Sanur beach, visit the many places to eat and drink as well as the mall. We can’t fault this place - it’s not often we return to the same accommodation but this was our second stay and are looking to return next year 💙

Beautiful Villa and location was ideal for beach and shops

Gymnasium most equipment was out of order. Steps leading out of reception exceptionally slippery after rain. I slipped down the steps and hurt myself. When we suggested they dry the step and remove the mat so no one else would slip the mat was just put straight back down again. Thankfully I am not an elderly person or It could have been a lot more serious.

De locatie is top! Je loopt binnen no time op de boulevard van Sanur en loopt via deze weg met zo’n 8 minuten in de Icon Mall. Het personeel was super aardig en lief! Ze doen echt hun best en hebben zelfs voor de verjaardag van mijn moeder gezongen met een taartje én daarbij het bed heel mooi versiert met rozen (nogmaals dank!). We zaten hier 5 dagen.

Onze villa (201) zat aan de straatkant en het was echt lawaaiig met de motoren en scooters die daar constant rijden. Rond een uur of 23:00-00:00 houd de herrie op, maar het begint weer rond 05:00 uur in de ochtend. De villa heeft op het eerste gezicht echt hele mooie kamers, maar al snel valt het achterstallig onderhoud op. Denk aan (kast)deuren die niet (goed) sluiten, luxaflexen die stuk zijn, riolering in de badkamer die stinkt, groene tegels in het zwembad, de douchekop wat echt zó erg onder de kalk zat dat de stukjes afbrokkelde, je kan letterlijk zien waar ze wel schoonmaken én waar ze al weken niet komen, toilet dat slecht doorspoelt, dat soort dingen: onderhoud die niet bijgehouden is. Ook was de douche (buiten) niet fijn, gezien je de ene keer wel, een beetje of helemaal geen waterdruk had (en dus ook geen douche). Personeel doet echt hun best, maar ook bij het ontbijt was het wisselend: de ene keer wel een personeelslid die rondloopt, de andere keer moet je ze zoeken. Ook het zwembad staat meerendeel van de dag in de schaduw, dus het water is koud (nogmaals, dit was in villa 201 zo) en het is niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn, want de treden zijn erg hoog en je hebt geen trapleuning.

So peaceful. A time to relax and renew oneself after a busy year. The location is super. Thank you to all the lovely staff.

Leaving . Did not want to go . So booked to come back for a longer stay.

The property was as advertised, staff were fantastic location was fantastic short walk to beach and main road of Sanur. Would stay again and highly recommend this property!!

Nothing we didn’t like about the property, one thing and now this is only being picky because the property is great. They need to think about having a larger fridge other than a small bar fridge for the ability to store more of your own food and drinks for those lazy down days by your private pool days . But as I said it’s being picky on what is a fantastic facility

Our villa great location good coffee just 100 metres down the road. All staff very helpful and lovely boys helped us with our bags cleaning and gardening. Lovely girl delivered breakfast. Our pool beautiful.

The entrance is a bit run down looking from the street but our 2 bedroom villa was lovely 204. Breakfast quite nice but major complaint the coffee terrible . Australians love their coffee so a pain to have to go down the road for coffee. Bit of maintenance needed. All pillows extremely soft but that seemed to be everywhere we stayed.

My husband and I spent a very relaxing week at Mahapala in May. The pool Villa - one of 20 is very spacious with plenty of cupboard, drawer and shelf spaces. The bed was very comfortable and pool and area outside is very easy to enjoy. Breakfast is a la carte and can be ordered to be in the villa or restaurant. Nothing was ever too much trouble from Rai in the office and Kusama in the bar area to the other many helpers on staff. The Villas are within walking distance of the beach and Icon and the many small restaurants on the street and if inclined a short walk to Sindhu night markets. The beach walk either north or south is easy and always fascinating. It is an ideal stay certainly suited to couples. We loved it and hope we can revisit
