Villa Mahapala

The villa and staff were wonderful 😊 Loved having our own pool. Great location,2 mins from beach front. We loved it there, definitely stay again!!

Breakfast wasn't great. It was ok..... The villa needs a good scrub,it was surface clean. The shower was a bit hard to keep temp,it was scorching hot,but no big deal really..

Extremely dated and in need of repair/renovations. Pictures on website must be very old or enhanced. Doors to both villas were difficult to open. Blinds do not close fully. Toilet in master suite remained broken for entire stay despite repeated requests for repair (did not flush). Had to exit master villa to go to adjoining villa each time toilet was required. Noisy 24/7. Asked to be moved to another villa further back from the road, but staff advised not possible. Despite advising could offer vegan breakfast options, was not adequately provided for. Restaurant not open for dining. Entire villa extremely dated and unclean. Poor cleaning by staff. Did not even attempt to do a half decent job. Sheets and towels stained and appeared dirty. The grounds of our villa were not tidied during our stay and were leaves etc. were everywhere. Had to request a mosquito coil each night.

Property Location was fantastic. Really close to Sindhu beach, icon, markets, shotgun social is across the road. Plenty of near by things to see, do, eat. Villa size was great. Full sun on the pool all day. Ultimately if the price point was a fraction lower, these things probably wouldnt be an issue.

The villa is tired and in need of upgrade. The outside area deck needs redoing as rough and uneven. Pool towels were not replaced once in the whole 5 days. They were ripped and stained. Air Conditioning in our villa really struggled. Breakfast was really disappointing. We tried to change it up to see if it improved but for the latter part of our trip we opted to eat out. To be fair, the staff and location were wonderful but for the price you pay it really needs some attention to detail. We have stayed at older more traditional properties that are better maintained. The small things like the towels and breakfast could really help uplift this experience.

It was a great stay. The villa was exceptional, very private. Good for a 10 day stay. The staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will come back. The location was perfect right at Sindu beach. Lots of fod options
