Above Blue Suites

Centrally located and easy to get to anywhere on the island. Great service. Awesome views and comfortable outdoor seating. So comfortable my husband fell asleep out there twice. Breakfast was good and included at your outdoor table for dining with a view. We stayed in the Felicity room with the pool right in front. They welcomed us with champagne, and included drinking water in the room as well. Quiet and didn't hear other guests. Definitely recommend. "Love kit" option to buy was a little much and kinda weird, but husband thought it was hilarious.

Beautiful property, amazing views, and a very convenient location on the island. Excellent service, especially from Maria who was very sweet and helpful. We loved the Harmony Suite.

As our 5th time in Santorini, I knew the location of this hotel would be great. And it was exactly that! The hotel itself is decent value for money for the location, but next time I think we would pay a little more and head to one of our previous hotels (most likely Anastasis Apartments, just down the road from above blue). Pros: -location -Room size -Private Hot Tub Temperature was spot on -Views Cons: -Service was very transactional, and didnt stand out like the fantastic hospitality we are used to in Santorini -Hotel main areas are pretty tired and dated -Room itself was nice, but could do with a deep clean and paint touch ups, particulalry around hot tub and bathroom -Main pool was very cold and looked like it needed a good scrub or re-paint. -We checked in early and was told earliest we could get into the room was 3pm. The receptionist advised that expedia was wrong and the check in time is 1500, not 1400 as shown on website. (However, she did subsequently bring forward the time and got us in 'Early' at 1415) -When I enquired about Expedia Gold room upgrade availability, the receptionist nearly fell off her chair! She advised that they dont do that sort of thing during peak season (September?) -The free bottle of wine was 35cl and warm. Not that it got any nicer after chilled! Overall this hotel would impress many, but after seeing the calibre of several other hotels, and the normal service levels in Santorini, Above Blue Suites left us a little dissappointed.

The view from the hotel is excellent, but everything else not so good, TV not working, jacuzzi not working , breakfast items that you check to bring not given, house keeping terrible, food left behind after cleaning and floor black, my feet would be black when i stepped bare foot, and front desk terrible, when bringing these issues to their attention, they acted like nothing is wrong, im sure they knew the tv and jacuzzi was not working, they made us feel like our concerns were not valid, well for 600 plus a night thats not acceptable, stsy aay from this kind of service!!

Great property and awesome service!

This place was outstanding! From the central location on the island, AMAZING balcony views and above all the staff! They all went above and beyond for anything and everything. They were amazing, I could not give this place enough stars!!

We could not sleep due to a party being had in the room below.The rooms are not soundproofed as advertised.Breakfast is inedible so disgusting and you can’t have it when you want you’re allocated a 30 minute time slot to have it in your room.Rooms basic and dated.More an aparthotel definitely not 4 stars 2 at most.Wouldn’t recommended.Tiny terrace hot tub for one.
