The outside eating area really suited us as a group.

Mangers sense of humour !! He was great.

The property seemed really nice in decor and cleanliness

The first room we were given only had ceiling windows and they couldn’t be left open if it rained, which it had been doing for days. I can’t sleep in a hot room and have windows open all night so asked if we could change rooms. The next room was facing a busy road and when opening the window we discovered it was broken and it opened the widest it would go by itself and wouldn’t close slightly so again the rain would pour in. I suffer from noise sensitivity having ADHD and I apologised and asked if there was a room that could have the window open and not next to a road but there wasn’t one. I was very uncomfortable telling someone about my health problems and once again said I was really sorry but I couldn’t sleep with noise and no air and asked if we could possibly have refund or partial refund so we could go somewhere else. Sadly the owner refused even after seeing I was upset. I’m disappointed as all the rooms were not sold out in fact a room there was half the price I’d paid days before to book that day in the same website I’d used. I understand it’s business but compassion should have been applied surely and maybe given us half our money back. This is why I have scored low as I could only go off the reviews and had I known I would not have booked.

Fantastic hotel/ pub. Food was excellent we could not fault it. Friendly and professional staff. We will 100% be back best food we’ve had in a long time from somewhere. Room was modern and really nice. smelt very clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable.

Being really picky the remote in the room wouldn’t work. Could do with a smart tv but that definitely wouldn’t stop us staying again of course just being picky.

Wir hatten ein großes, blitzsauberes Zimmer und Bad. Frühstück war sehr gut und hat voll entsprochen. Wir hatten Glück, dass relativ wenig Pubbetrieb war und wir in Ruhe abends essen und trinken konnten.

Leider war keine Klimaanlage vorhanden; nur ein Luftreiniger/Ventilator. Das Frühstück war nur bis 8.30 möglich.
