Holiday Inn Express Suites Van Buren-Ft Smith Area by IHG

Our check in and out was easy and quick. The room was very clean with well maintained and updated fixtures. The breakfast area was very clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable with 4 fluffy king size pillows. While we did not use the laundry on our floor, I did notice that the machines were new and the area was very clean just like the rest of the property. We had a very relaxing quiet night. I would stay here again.

Place was nice only issue was interior elevator repairs were shabby

Overall really good. We arrived very late and almost all the rooms were booked. The room was clean but didn’t have any towels. Called the front desk and they apologized and said they would bring them right up. After 15 minutes I went down to find they had totally forgot about it. It was a very small inconvenience but unpleasant after a full day of traveling and just wanting a hot shower and go to bed. Breakfast was very basic but they do have really good cinnamon rolls.

Very clean accommodations and friendly staff

If I could leave a ZERO star I would! Where do I begin!?!? First off- the staff called me 2 1/2 hours before check in and asked me my arrival time, I was in town for sports event and had no idea. What does it matter? I’m paying the same price regardless…during that call they charged my card 2 transactions! Check in 5:30pm and they ran it again, I went to the front and was told it would be fixed. Woke up with another charge! Checked out at the front desk, only to deal with the RUDEST lady named Cathy who refused to correct the charges and refused to give me a print out. She was hateful! Told me a manger would call me. Didn’t hear from anyone and I had to call the manager myself. He was unable to help and told me I had to wait for the general manager. She didn’t call until 3 days after my Stay and told me to wait until Friday! She said she would send me an email I can provide to my bank to show the charges should be released and yet again—another lie! Never sent email. She also said I would be given 5,000 points- NEVER HAPPENED EITHER! I’m out over $500 and no one has been helpful! Avoid this place at all cost!!!!

Very nice

The area to eat breakfast was very warm. I was sweating trying to eat. There weren’t enough low top tables. I ate by the computer because I hate high top tables. They were all open and the low top tables were full. Maybe you should make all the tables in the eating area low tops.

Overall good experience .

Nice property and location

Cleanliness should have gotten a 5 but there were some long black hairs on the bathroom floor.
