Great pool for families

We’ve been travelling around Thailand for 6/7 weeks now and this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in, not only because of the amazing facilities, but because of the hospitality of the team. We stayed in a superior room (which was great as is! Comfortable bed, large room) but there was a malfunction in our room meaning we had to move, we was not too bothered about this, these things happen, but it ended up being a blessing in disguise- we got upgraded for the inconvenience and the room we stayed in was even better than the standard one we’d booked, despite that one being perfect anyway. Direct access into the pool which was large with a bar serving yummy cocktails and 2 slides fit for children and adults alike. Chanon helped us with this and has treat us wonderfully throughout our stay, he’s been a treat during our stay in Krabi and the best member of staff we’ve encountered in any hotels we’ve stayed in whilst travelling. He’s gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy and comfortable and we want to personally thank him in this review. Furthermore, we recommend the breakfast add on, super yummy, multi cuisine, cooking fresh eggs and lovely pastry selection! If you are coming to Krabi we highly recommend staying in ananta burin resort. Thanks to Chanon and the incredible team for an amazing time! :)

**Check-in Experience:** Check-in at the Ananta Burin Resort was generally smooth, although it was unexpected to find our room not ready by 5:00 PM. Fortunately, the wait was brief and our luggage was efficiently delivered to our room, which mitigated the inconvenience. **Room Quality:** The rooms were spacious but came with their own set of challenges. The beds were notably hard, which might not suit everyone's comfort preferences, and the air conditioning was excessively strong, to the point of being uncomfortable. **Breakfast:** For the price of €2.50 per person, the breakfast was satisfactory but not exceptional. A positive note was the availability of omelets made to order, which added a nice touch of personalization to the meal options. **Swimming Pool:** The swimming pool was the highlight of the resort. It was beautifully designed and provided endless fun throughout the day. This feature alone made a significant positive impact on our stay. **Additional Amenities:** A pleasant surprise was the welcoming atmosphere in the lobby upon returning from excursions. Complimentary water and occasional fresh juice were always available, providing a refreshing and appreciated gesture. **Overall:** I give Ananta Burin Resort a 5/5 rating, not because everything was flawless, but because of the excellent value for money. At a rate of €35 per day, the resort offers a perfect balance, making it an outstanding choice despite some shortcomings. For budget-conscious travelers seeking a pleasant experience with great facilities like an excellent pool, this resort is highly recommended.

Really lovely hotel. All staff are very polite in the reception and pools. Rooms are vertically spacious and clean with a very comfy bed. We enjoyed both pools, the back pool has a swim up bar and water slides, great for kids or big kids like us! The relax pool was lovely although still a lot of children playing so not really much of a ‘relaxed’ vibe here either.

We booked a room with pool access, it was a nice room by the RELAX POOL, but the pool was filled with children and really noisy! We could not Sleep or relax! We asked to change the room but no available Also the breakfast was very poor and limited we could not find anything to our taste. The coffee was aslo disaster

Amazing food and tea. Great location too as it's near Aonang beach and also near the Four islands area. I've stayed in Krabi for just a day at Ananta Burin and it has been a very pleasant and interesting experience. The staff are friendly and courteous and it's been a relaxing stay so far. Thanks :)

Staff very friendly (9/10), location very good (8/10), amenities very good (8/10), breakfast good but marked down for terrible juices (6/10), value for money very good (8/10). I do wish that Thailand would do better with cleaning up the rubbish. Some tourism generated, much by locals. Everywhere. Street, rivers, beaches. Shame.

We are so happy we choose Ananta Burin for our stay in Ao Nang! The staff was very friendly and went the extra mile all the time. Example: we asked about gluten free breakfast alternatives for our daughter the first morning. We had not told about this in advance (as you should in Thailand where food allergies are rare) so they could not help us the first morning (not a problem really, there is a lot of gluten free choices, but our daughter wanted bread that morning). But the same day they sent somebody to a special store to buy gluten free food for us so that next morning they had both bread and gluten free pasta! Just fantastic service! The breakfast buffet is great by the way! A lot of delicious alternatives, both Thai and international. I usually ate omelett, greek yoghurt, tasted the Thai dishes and had some fresh fruit (the selection of fruit varies, but there is always several tasty alternatives) as dessert. The hotel restaurant was a solid choice for a dinner as well, but there are a lot of great choices nearby. Our room was super; clean, big, excellent AC and WiFi, silent, great shower, free water, plenty of towells and had all the things that you would except. We slept really well the entire week. The only thing that could be improved was to add more hangers and hooks so that it would be possible to hang more clothes and to dry bathing clothes and towels easier. The pools are also great. There are two big pool areas, one a bit more quiet and warmer that is more for a relaxing swim and another adventure pool area with a small water park, big pool and two water slides (I was skeptical about the quality of the slides before arrival, but they were great). There are balls and some toys that can be used in the pools. There were plenty of life guards on duty all the time (unnecessary for us, but good for smaller kids that cannot swim). The hotel gym is small and is lacking in equipment. Suggestion: add a set of heavier dumbbells, some rubber bands and a pull-up bar and I would be happy (none of these upgrades would take a lot of space). The room has good AC, there is free water and towels. The hotel location is excellent. It is located near the main road, but on a side street that makes it a little calmer. The beach is within short walking distance and if you are prepared to walk slightly longer you can go to the evening market by foot. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby. We got a very good price by booking early (more than half a year in advance).

This was such an awesome hotel for our family. The pool was definitely a fun place to hang out and relax. Our room was spectacular. We booked the family room which was a dream. Having two separate rooms with kids was definitely needed at the end of our Thailand trip. The amenities really couldn’t beat. It’s also in the heart of such a vibrant area. Everything was walkable that we wanted access to.
