Lack of a few things that would make the resort a tad better overall but nothing that can deduct away from how good of a review this place deserves due to its members of staff.

Stayed in a Mountain Suite on a Monday evening and felt as though we had the resort to ourselves. Room was spacious and well appointed whilst covered balcony included two sun loungers from which to enjoy the beautiful view. Quality and presentation of food at dinner was very good whilst breakfast was ‘a la Carte’ rather than buffet reflecting the limited guests. Asian and western offerings were available. Spent an hour in the morning at the adjacent Katiliya Park to enjoy the scenery and view the birds. Beware, however, of the aggressive swans who duly behaved in accordance with the sign posted warning ! Overall - recommended secluded spot for relaxation at an appropriate price.

We stayed for 1 night and because of the low season we got upgraded to a mountain view suite (202). Check in was efficient and friendly and golf cart to our room. The room was massive with a balcony with loungers, fantastic big bed, television and again big bath room with shower and bath. The pool was great as was the Terrace restaurant for dinner. Yes not he average Thai price but for the quality provided excellent! Very enjoyable stay. One minor downside was the loud (old) airco but besides that strongly recommended!

Highly recommend to visit this beautiful resort! Easy to get too from Chiang Rai, you can either go with a driver coordinated by the hotel at $1,000 baht each way or grab will take you there and pick you up for approx. $650 baht each way. We coordinated grab to go to the resort and prebooked grab for the return to Chiang Rai without any issues. The resort it self is lovely, shame there were not alot of guests when we attended (may have been the season being easter period) but the staff went above and beyond to look after us and could not be any more helpful. The room were comfortable (we had the honeymoon suite with a child) and it was spacious, clean, large balcony and outside shower. The internet can be a little patchy at times being in the mountain (they are allocated for each room/area i.e pool/reception) but the staff offered to move rooms but we decided to try one of the other rooms internet and it worked so we did not need to move (appreciated the offer). Huge pool in the main area with a smaller pool and additional children's pool. Food was great, expect to pay approx $2,000 baht ($100AUD) for dinner/drinks on average for 2 people with a main/desert or entree/main and a couple of drinks (service fee & tax + 17%). Thai food approx. $300 baht (with service fee/tax), burgers approx. $320baht, steak more expensive but there is variety for all tastes (I heard they were also accommodating another guest that was gluten free). Breakfast was buffet or if menu only you can order as much as you like. Resort does offer to take you into the local town to 7 eleven if needed for snacks/drinks/beer (no charge) or you can also attend the other resort at the bottom of the mountain for hiking/pool and more park like atmosphere. Overall a wonderful stay had by all!

Relax into a spectacular setting. The rooms are large and very comfortable. All of the staff provide 5 star service. The meals are delicious. Our group took a cooking class which was well organized and fun. Spa services were utilized and appreciated.
