Purchase prices for food was high

The staff was absolutely friendly over the top helpful. The rooms were so much better than I expected. Everything was great. They thought of things that I never would have thought they would. They had extras and the airport shuttle being there 24 hours was a lifesaver and they even gave us a lift once somewhere else when we needed it. The concierge was something I had never had and that was wonderful. They were helpful with everything we needed to know there. They held our bags when we first got there so that we could walk around until time to check in. I really just can't find anything bad to say. There was just so much good at that place. One of the best places I've ever stayed at.

Really not much of anything. It was very noisy at night but that wasn't their fault. They even gave us some ear plugs for that reason. If anything I think it would have been great to have had a little bit bigger pool and hot tub maybe but that's just ideas. And a microwave in the room would have been great but they did have one downstairs. That's really the only suggestions I can think of.

This is an amazing hotel with it's contemporary design and incredible levels of service. Check in was fast and easy. Our room was spacious with an innovative design. Breakfast was good. My only problem was the bathroom. I love the design...up to a point. It's set up such that if you turn on the lights it blasts the entire sleeping area like a lighthouse. Perhaps this is okay for most people but I get up 2 to 3 hours before my wife and she's sensitive to light. As a result, I got cleaned up using the light from my ipad.

The Aloft Tempe was a perfect fit for us. We made a quick two day trip to the Phoenix area to be with friends. We selected the Aloft Tempe based upon location and reputation. We received a great room and the folks at the front desk were very accommodating. We liked that the hotel is part of the Marriott family of hotels and would stay again. We had a corner room which provided a little extra space from a typical Aloft room. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Shower water pressure could have been better but not a shop stopper. We did not use the Pool or other amenities at the Hotel. They offer some food items but we did not partake. There is a In-N-Out across the street if you are looking for a burger!

Excellent oat meal.

Need more healthy choice. Never understood if the breakfast was free or not?
