A special shoutout to the lovely Latvian receptionist – she was incredibly nice, cool, and helpful, making me feel truly welcome and right at home.

A special shoutout to the lovely Latvian receptionist—she was incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful. For instance, our room was booked for two people but only had one bathrobe and pair of slippers. I mentioned this to her, and she quickly and happily sorted it out for us. ​However, there was a downside regarding the room temperature. The heating couldn't be adjusted properly to make the room warmer. Even though I set the thermostat to 24°C, it had barely warmed up to 22°C by the morning. ​Overall, the hotel is nice and the staff is fantastic, but the climate control and initial room setup could use a little improvement.

We stayed for just one night and from the moment we checked in the staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The hotel has been immaculately refurbished giving a light airy feel which we absolutely loved. The standard double room was a really good size. The bed pillows and quilt are the best we have slept in. It was like being in a cloud as it was so light and fluffy. We ate dinner in the grill and the food was superb as was the service. Breakfast was also excellent but could have been a little hotter. We will not hesitate to stay here again.
