Room and bed very nice.

Very efficient check in

On 24th of February I phoned the hotel and asked for a room downstairs. When I arrived at the hotel I was put in a room upstairs. I had a terrible accident. The new carpet has a very loud pattern, I missed the step, fell at an angle, hit my head on the wall and was knocked unconscious. I suffered badly from concussion which affected my memory and my eyesight. I'm nearly 80 and I thought I was going to die. 2 weeks later and my head is still throbbing. I had to go to a&e for a head scan and xraya. I found out that another lady fell on the same step the day before. As this was a Health and Safety issue I asked for proof that things had been made safe. The hotel ignored me.

The small details like larger cups in the rooms, iron and board, very well set out. Room service was great as a solo traveler.
