Fabulous building, welcoming staff and super efficient Delightful to have valet service - our car was taken away and delivered back to us when we were departing Hotel made a dinner reservation for us at Les Flots restaurant in La Rochelle - it was outstanding!!! The hotel bar is elegant and very beautiful Welcomed our well behaved dog

Ik ben met: het is er TOP ! Vriendelijk, vrolijk, behulpzaam en net personeel. Zeer leuke ligging en fraai gebouw. Prima faciliteiten. - ruime fraaie kamer en badkamer - wat klein zwembad, maar voldeed zeker, met goed meubilair - goede ontbijt faciliteit en buiten terras - ligt aan het begin van het (winkelgebied)centrum - de haven ligt op loop afstand door het centrum. - veel gezellige straatjes en restaurantjes - de auto werd geparkeerd en voorgereden en kon er ook (voor slechts 20,00) wordsn opgeladen.

Het ontbijt is in verhouding duur 29,00 pp.. goed maar prijzig. Aan het einde van de week verschenen er plots veel kinderen, hetwelk ten koste ging van de rustige sfeer die er heerste, waarbij niet het vermoeden bestond dat het loges waren van het hotel.

We had an immaculate, comfortable suite. The staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was available on site. The hotel is a short walk from the harbor and an amazing farmer’s market (Wed. Morning; I don’t know about other times). Good restaurants nearby. Really a nice place.

Staff was exceptional; friendly, able to help answer questions, helped with the car-shuffle to get luggage loaded. The travel-themed bar cocktail menu was well done and entertaining and the drinks were terrific and unique. Room was spacious, clean and attractive, location was ideal (after getting luggage to the room; Merchant's District is not for drivers).

La Rochelle was very hot (91 F/ 35 C) and the room was cool but the A/C fan was low-volume air, despite setting to highest.

The property is stunning from the moment you step across the threshold. There’s a beautiful courtyard, outside seating area and bicycles for guests’ use. The decor in the foyer/bar is also beautiful and very inviting.

The breakfast experience overall was underwhelming. Service was inefficient and the choice of fresh fruits , granola etc was disappointing. The pool area only has 8 sun beds so it’s not easy to secure one! However the pool itself was great and there was plenty of seating around the small area.
