chambre en etage superieure, tres confortable, avec vue sympa sur les toits de la ville et ses monuments (proche vieux port), deco de bon gout et recherchee (clins d'oeil à l'histoire de la ville), accueil agreable (coupe de bienvenue), cheminee avec feu qui brulait. velos en tres bon etat et disponibles à l'accueil, en location. accueil tres gentil et diligent du service du petit dejeuner. PDJ tres bien, avec tres bons produits locaux et patisseries variees. tres quali. regret de ne pas avoir pu profiter de la piscine interieure....à cause de la meteo. le lobby est tres accueillant avec differents canapés autour du bar.

des petits details d'entretien sont à surveiller (eclats de peinture de ci de là, entrees de serrure rayées), accrochent l'oeil mais ne nuisent pas au confort et à la qualité de l'hotel.

Great location.

Considering this is a 5 star hotel we were very disappointed. Our biggest grumble was on 3 consecutive mornings it was not possible for both of us to have a warm shower. I flagged this twice and was told somebody would look at it but nothing changed. On the first day we had to ask for room service. It was again disappointing to come back to an unmade room. At this level of hotel - and we have stayed in many SLH hotels- the attention to detail was simply missing. Front desk staff were perfectly friendly.

Hotel 4* bien ubicado

Este hotel no es un 5*, como maximo un 4*, decoración de mal gusto,muebles,mesas,sillas como si hubieran sido traídas de muchos lugares.Nada pega con nada.Los sofás del hall tienen los muelles que se salen.La ventana de la habitación no se abre.Las habitaciones como la 106 tienen mucho ruido porque dan encima de la salida del garage .Las fachadas del hotel hace muchos años que no las pintan.Parking en el edificio muy complicado

Wunderschönes Stadtpalais mit modernen Ergänzungsbauten mitten in der Altstadt, ruhig gelegen. Tiefgarage für Autos vorhanden. Wir durften eine sehr grosszügige Suite im 6.Stock mit direktem Panoramablick bis zum Hafen und zum Meer bewohnen, sehr bequeme Betten, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Stadt zu Fuss ebenso wie für Ausflüge zB zur Ile de Ré. Auch Hotel-eigene Velos vorhanden. Bestes Haus am Platz. Ein Ort zum Wiederkommen!

Altstadt ist für Autos grossmehrheitlich einspurig. Erreichbarkeit mit Auto deshalb nur über eine Einbahnstrasse mit Schranke. Diese kann nur mit bestimmtem Code geöffnet werden. Deshalb Ankunft bzw. genaue Zeit mit Hotel absprechen. Der Zimmer-Service war unregelmässig, meist absolut perfekt, mitunter aber auch mangelhaft.

Really nice hotel with plenty of character and within easy walking distance of the harbour area with Restaurants and bars etc. Underground parking for our Motorcycles was excellent as was the breakfast. The Sauna/Steam room were good as was was the Spa chill out area.

Only two slight moans, firstly, was the lady who checked us out tried to charge us three times as much for the parking as had previously been agreed via messaging on booking. Secondly, they left it to within a few days of booking to tell us the swimming pool was closed which was disappointing.
