The staff and the owner were VERY friendly and helpful. They helped to highlight things to do, areas to see and how to get the most of our stay in Tolo. The breakfast was nice, the pool was nice and the views from our balcony were great. Tolo was a great little town, close to everything and very kind people. Highly recommended and not too far from Athens.

This was a great hotel during our road trip through the Peloponnese. My husband, two teenagers and I only stayed one night but it was a great choice. Immaculately clean with probably the most comfortable beds/sheets we had in Greece, and cute, bright, cheery furnishings. It was a nice change from the typical older, dark European hotels at that price point. One thing to note, it's not in Nafplion--it's about a 10 minute drive aways in Tolo, but in the end, we preferred that actually. Our room had an amazing view of the water and a spacious deck and living area. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and available. There's a nice pool that we all enjoyed after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was huge and yummy---with lots of homemade breads, yogurts, hot items. Definitely stay here!

Everything about this apartment was good, but the view high up overlooking the sea was magnificent. The apartment is modern and the service excellent and very helpful.

The owner, Yiannis, is a charming, knowledgeable and EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating person-------a very special thanks to him. Thank you, as well, to the beautiful and charming "Stavroula". The rooms, although small, we're extremely well done and our "apartment" had two balconies with sensational views. Overall, probably the nicest hotel we've stayed in thus far in our 20 of 44 day trip. We would stay here again, "in a New York minute". Having said that, for the off season, the nightly rate was a bit high and without breakfast, which was an additional 5 Euros ( $6.50 USD), per person additional. When booking with hotels.com I am nearly certain it showed "buffet breakfast included", but after we booked it was NOT included.

The rooms are lovely & it is definitely worth staying if you have your own transport..I was travelling by bus, so it was more difficult to get around. I had good views & was happy with it there, but could have done without the 3 bus loads of school kids that were staying there at the same time as me!!

Excellent service, good sized bedroom and living room. Very cordial and helpful staff/owner. Fantastic sea view.

silent place - nice view - fine pool place - not too far from the beach - great rooms with huge balcony, and big and comfortable main bed... but typical Greek... bad covers - and the additional bed for the children... could be better...

I definitely recommend this stay. It is clear the owners take great pride in their property, their customers, and satisfaction. The hotel is on the hill with a fantastic view and beautiful pool. While there is a short steep walk to town, in three blocks you are right where you want to be. You won't find such a nice hotel any closer. Best stay in Greece, and all were good. We visited Epidavros (35 min), Napflio (10), Palamidi Fortress (10). The beach in Tolo is nice and very recreational. The beach past Nafplio and Palimidi is fantastic. I have 13 and 14 year old girls and Tolo offered them a safe independence for shopping and hanging out without Dad.

We stayed at the Amaryllis for 10 nights and can recommend it. We found the staff absolutely excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they put the effort in to make our stay very enjoyable. The pool is not huge but was more than adequate for our needs. The views from the hotel are stunning - our garden view looked out onto a terrace but the sea views have great views across the bay. Breakfast was good - much better than we expected. The building is in great condition and the decor fresh - an advantage of the hotel only being a few years old. The only slight negative about the hotel is that it is up a hill therefore wouldn't recommend it for the less mobile. Overall though we would definitely stay there again should we return to Tolo.
