Porto Naxos Hotel

Amazing staff, room, facilitites, breakfast and pool area

The Porto Naxos hotel is a beautiful hotel on the edge of Naxos Town. It's an easy 10 minute walk into town, and there is a bus stop only a block away to get to other beaches etc. We borrowed the hotel's bikes for a trip to a beach, and loved the daily breakfasts where there was a huge variety of foods. The pool was beautiful and it was fun to get drinks at the pool bar. There is a little, cheap restaurant next door and a supermarket across the street. Super great location, and very friendly and helpful staff.

Porto Naxos is a beautiful hotel within walking distance to town and to the beach. The accommodations were very comfortable, a very large room with a big terrace to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. The breakfast was amazing! There was a big variety of pastries, eggs, fruit, cereal, something for everyone.

Very modern and clean hotel with an amazing breakfast and gorgeous pool area with a bar. It’s just outside the tourist area, so about a 7 minute walk to the local beach (which is very nice) and about 10-15 to the town/old town/harbor area. I walked everywhere locally but easy to rent a car for a day if you want to get out to the farther beaches. My room was very spacious and my terrace was even more so! Nice views of the island and the sea in the distance.

Great hotel, room was above the road which made it slightly noisy, otherwise it was great. One receptionist did not speak English very well, otherwise service was excellent. Pool bar was lovely and reasonably priced for cocktails.

Very close to the beach and about 15 minute easy walk to the hora. Very nice pool area. Bed was comfy and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The facility is first-rate and the staff wonderful. The hotel is a bit distant from the beach and town and located in a busy road that our room faced.

Great hotel. Good location, easy walking distance to main spots in Naxos. Room was clean and spacious. Pool area facilities were great. Hotel staff were very helpful and lovely. I would definitely stay there again.

We used Expedia reviews to choose a hotel in Naxos and we hit a gem. Two storey hotel hidden in lush garden, palm trees and farmers fields on the edge of Chora. Spacious room, big bathroom, little private patio, hidden in palms and blossoming bushes. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, and is designed as a ancient Greek house with many open air passages and sitting area. Big garden surrounding the pool. The hotel has an exercise room, offers bicycle rental at no charge. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful settings. Staff was very helpful. It’s a 5 min. walk to the centre of the town with all restaurants and evening life, about 25 min. walk to the port along the boulevards. A nearby restaurant Naxos Grill offers delicious and inexpensive meals if you need something quick. We rode the bicycles from the hotel to Plaka Beach, about 8km, going through Ag. Prokopios and Ag Anna. Good restaurants along the road. Plaka Beach is sandy, with dunes, crystal clear water and stretches for kilometers. The umbrella and two chairs rental is 7-10€.

Great little hotel on the edge of town - not even 10 min walk into town. The pool area is great, staff really accommodating, big bedroom which could benefit from a few more finishing touches but overall a great, last minute find inNaxos
