Courtyard Statesville Mooresville/Lake Norman

My husband and I recently stayed here, twice, during a road trip from Atlanta to Buffalo. The hotel was a perfect respite both times. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, welcoming, and the staff could not have been more accommodating, & understanding, as we required a late check-in due to car issues. EVERYONE was terrific... I regret having written only two names down: Ket, and Anthony, yet all were so terrific from the front desk, bar/bistro/chef, housekeeping, to the sweet kind man at the front desk who came & checked on me to see if the pool was overly chlorinated...it was perfect, & so was our stay. Great front desk staff. Very friendly and welcoming. We had a late check in so we missed out on all the other great amenities like the bar/grill but were able to grab a few things from your Market Place to snack on. The beds were very comfortable and the bath clean and fresh. Breakfast was fantastic. Best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Made to order and as good as any fine restaurant. Makes me wish we had arrived in time to have a shot at that dinner menu…will have to stay again sometime soon!

The hotel is dated. The first room I received wasn't fresh, and the second room wasn't either. Additionally, it smelled awful. The third room was dirty, with dirty bed sheets, and the fourth room had ants and bugs all over. The staff wasn't invaluable; it's a $ 200-a-night hotel. DON'T BOOK IT!!!

Enjoyed my recent stay at this Courtyard in Statesville. Attending the Rotary District Conference at the Statesville Convention Center I selected this hotel for my overnight stay. While not walkable to the Convention Center the hotel is only a couple of close miles. Made my reservation at the Marriott web site a few months before the conference. Arriving at the hotel around 5 pm I was greeted nicely at the front desk by an agent who was not in an uniform, however he was very hospitable. Recognized my Platinum Bonvoy status and asked if I wanted points as my status gift. He was very welcoming. My guest room was spotless clean. The bed was very comfortable. Stand up shower was appreciated but I had a difficult time reading the labels on the shampoo/conditioner/body wash bottles in the shower. Water pressure was awesome and heated up quickly. Good location with multiple restaurants close by. A really nice Courtyard that I can recommend should your travels take you to Statesville NC.

Stayed one night on the third floor in a king room. Room 301 was by the elevator and ice machine. Fortunately, it wasn't too noisy from that, but the side road we were facing was a bit noisy. The room had a couch, plus the usual Fridge, no freezer. Controls for A/C & Heat were on the wall. There was soap dispensers on the wall of the shower which was pretty large, but the counter was pretty small. No breakfast, but coffee in the lobby, which the one carafe provided was empty in the morning when we came to the lobby. They have a small cafe to buy food. The room was a little pricey for what we got, but would stay here for one night again.
