Hotel is around 20mins from Pazhou Fair area by Shuttle bus of the Hotel, Hotel staff was very friendly, only breakfast was too Eastern style, we could not find things to eat.

Cheap and Good~! Wide room, nice breakfast, bus to airport

Great location for business travellers. Not overly close to anything other than businesses. Food was a good selection for breakfast and dinner. Price was good and service was not tobe faulted, would stay again if on business trip.

Stayed at the Grand Royal whilst going to a Trade Fair. The hotel is clean, staff are pleasant and breakfast is better than most. The and pastries need to go through the toaster to freshen up and the coffee isn't very good. Went to the lobby bar one night and the drinks were 105RMB (nearly $20 each). The beer was stale. Probably at this price it is not often bought. One small bottle of Tsing Tao beer was 55RMB. We bought 10 large bottle in the street for the same price. If you eat at the buffet go early otherwise you end up with very little for what you pay. Seems like one dish goes out and not replenished. For about $100 per night to stay I think there are probably many better hotels around and next time will try a different one.

A great hotel to stay, clean, comfortable and the staff were very very helpful, Wifi was just great compared to other hotels, rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurants and specially the buffet had an excellent choice of foods and enjoyed it every single day for breakfast and dinner. All the staff spoke English, or had someone who did ASAP. They have a returning customer.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for canton fair. I had to change my room the 1st night itself as the bathroom was smelling of used cloth to clean the bathroom The buffet didn't hv much vegetarian choice so I requested if they can make fries so I hv something... It was a task to convince On the good side, they offer shuttle to the fair. Also the #4 shuttle from Airport drops opp the hotel so you don't hv to take a taxi which may cost RMB 500
