Loved the new remodeled hotel! It was very cleaned and staff were friendly and welcoming. We will stay here again!

Easy access from highway. Clean common areas. Clean room.

Room 229: Broken bed frame so it squeaked for the person sleeping on the side nearest the door. Shower head worked on gentle, but made a loud noise on higher pressures. Train noise.

The Corvette organization that I'm a member of, hosted a 2-day race at the local airport, north of town. There was ample parking for members who towed trailers and easy access parking for the rest. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The room was spacious, it was clean and well prepared. All room features were functioning and available. The bed was clean and comfortable. No issues with keyless access either. Worked every time on room door and outside access doors, as well. I really enjoyed the breakfast, too. Very tasty, cooked very well, and plenty available. The coffee was hot and all disposable utensils were there. Excellent way to begin the day. Overall, I will definitely book this location again in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

I liked the closeness to Otero college where my work event was.

I should have known this wasn’t going to be a good stay when I called the hotel and was answered with a hello instead of Hampton inn! I let them know I needed to check in early as I was doing a work function, and I was driving in from 150 miles away I was told no problem. I get there an hour early and can’t check in. I was told the room wasn’t ready and she didn’t know who I spoke with, but I couldn’t come in early, but they would call as soon as the room was ready. Never got that call. Took a break from my work event at the college and came back at 5 and checked in. Dropped my stuff in the room and ran back to work. Came back after my work event and the room had a horrible odor. I lasted until about 10pm and finally called the front desk to ask for an air freshener or candle due to a god-awful smell in the room and was told I could come get the air freshener, but the front desk never came to check for the reason of the smell. I looked all the drawers and fridge but could not find the cause. I came to the conclusion it must have been the heater/air conditioner. I was woken up all night by screaming kids and called the front desk and got no answer. When I checked out in the morning, I was greeted with a front desk clerk who said, “do you need something” and I said yes, I want to check out. She was on a cell phone and seemed annoyed I was bothering her. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else!

Noisy trains honking their horns all night led me to not sleep well therefore effecting my work performance at the hospital. My job performance is critical. Will not be using again.
