"We were blown away by the staff!"

I really enjoyed my stay at the South Bend Microtel. The place was clean and everything exceeded my expectations. Amy at the front desk was phenomenal and went above and beyond to ensure that we didn't encounter any issues during our stay. I will be back in town soon and lwill be ooking forward to another stay at Microtel!

The bed was so comfy! The room was super clean. The bathroom was a little outdated but nothing too horrible! I stay at this hotel often and I always try and request the same room. Itā€™s little and cozy and I like it!

We were not able to get the tv to work (not that it mattered that much; we do not have tv at home!); the chain-lock on the door was not usable; the shower was very good; a queen-size bed had been removed so there was a big open space where the bed had been; no chair other than the desk chair; good closet space; breakfast area off the lobby very clean and was managed well; refrigerator was good

"Great visit"

TV was inoperable. Jan (?Jean) tried several times to remedy the situation. She even called in the maintenance man, but we had gone to bed by then. The manager gave me a $40 credit for the mishap. Otherwise, a fine visit. Lynn Hankes

"Bougie on a budget :)"

Iā€™ve stayed in a couple different hotels in the area within the last couple months and I have to say this one was my favorite. The room was clean. The bed was so comfortable. I slept like a baby. The staff was friendly but not overly friendly. Breakfast could have been better but it was not bad at all. Iā€™m just sayin they could have had a better selection. I really like this hotel. Itā€™s bougie on a budget.
