Candlewood Suites Bellevue by IHG

Stayed here during a road trip from Montana to Alabama because they allowed pets. The room was smaller than previous rooms but the beds were fantastic, very comfortable. The room was clean, updated and wasn't over-deodorized to cover up pet smells. The negatives was the lack of a pool or breakfast for the kiddos.

There was a couple of really good staff members like the front desk manager and a girl Jennifer who worked at the front desk. But the manager there was a really big idiot. Very creepy and obsessive about some of his female staff. Very troubling. I actually called his boss at the corporate office I was so concerned. Stay away.

The elevator slips when it gets to the third floor!! The curtains don’t close all the way!! The handicap parking is right next to the curb!! I asked for the total cost of my stay and was told they can’t give that information!!!

Currently in my room, eating the complimentary popcorn as I write this. Rooms, very clean. The staff are extremely friendly, I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with Kevin, and the dark haired shorter lady. Only negative I have is my smoke detector in the room started chirping(low battery) I went to the desk and the lady couldn’t find the batteries. So I just went to Walmart and bought some(no big deal). Maybe to others but not me. Thanks you for the clean comfortable room, and the genuine hospitality. I will most definitely return if I’m ever back in the area.

Property was clean and comfortable. Good location near the highway and a walmart for groceries. Check in was bad, we showed up at 3:30 and the room was not ready, it would not be ready for at least an hour. Checkin in is stated as 3:00 and it was not as stated. The desk clerk did call us after we had already left and were nearly downtown Omaha to alert us to the room being close to ready. Then during the evening the desk was not occupied, staff were outside on smoke break and a couple of us were waiting at the desk for assistance.

The heat in our room did not work. We were given extra blankets but no accommodations at all. All they said was we will look at it to get it fixed. No credit to me or some sort of gift card. When I pay over 115 for a room and the heat won’t work, I should not have to buy full price.

easy access of the interstate, clean and close to lots of restaurants. Pet friendly. You share access in with the motel next door, wish the driveway was marked better, we drove by it the first time looking for the entrance.

Renovations are ongoing so consider that. But the personnel were very accommodating, friendly and trying to make best of that situation
