Candlewood Suites Bellevue by IHG

Last three trips to Omaha for business, I have stayed at Candlewood. Being a semi-frequent traveler, I get very tired of eating restaurant food and carry-out. The rooms cost just a little more, but I love being able to prep my lunch for the office. And if we get out of the office late - which is pretty often - I dont have to find an open restaurant. Can fix something quick in the room. Clean rooms. Friendly Staff. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They have suites with separate bedroom area and studio style which is more like a traditional hotel room. All come with full kitchens. Fridge with ice maker. 2-burner stove. Bar sink with garbage disposal. Full size dishwasher. Microwave. Cabinets stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and adequate cutlery and tableware for the room-size. Full kitchens make it feel like home. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also responsive. My last stay, the remote for the TV did not work. Needed batteries. Extra blankets, pillows, towels. Whatever you need. Dependable internet. This is a gotta-have for the business traveler. All three visits to this hotel, the internet has been good; dependable; complimentary. In the king suites, if memory serves, there is a separate workspace and comfortable office-style stuffed chair for working. In the studio, same chair but the kitchen table is large and comfortable to work at as well. This hotel is about 15 minutes from downtown Omaha. 20 minutes from the Century Link. A little longer during rush-hour, but even then, not a bad drive. Not a hotel for the traveler who wants everything done for them. No breakfast in the lobby. But perfect for me. I like my room comfortable and my food fresh and home-prepared.

Made the reservations via the web. Arrived late and had no problem checking in. The front desk staff were skilled and helpful. I had questions and they had the answers. The room was great. I appreciate the kitchenette when I spend a few days. I will stay here again... Travel safe....

Very nice hotel, the staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean.It was nice having a kitchenette in the room. Pet friendly, nice area to walk the dog. Plenty of parking. Close to shops and restaurants.

This candlewood suites bellevue hotel is a nice place to stay and its atmosphere is agreable. I would recommendend anyone to try it and also food is nice. For those who never been to nebraska its a nice place

This hotel was definitely great, we spent 2 days in that suite and the service was excellent! We will come back maybe next year if we are not busy with work and our children that are growing up lol good experience
