Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Cesme

Update: After 6 months I still did not get my deposit back. I stayed here for one night. This hotel charged a deposit hold to my credit card for extras during the stay and instead of refunding at check out, the receptionist completed the charge. The hotel took this extra money and did not refund. The management of this hotel does not care about clear mistake and showed no effort to fix it. Essentially they stole this money from me. I still have the credit card slip and I have proof. The phone operator as well as the back office is very rude and not competent. They also did not help at all, did not event look into the issue and did not even connect me to a manager. Ignore old reviews. It is a new hotel Overcharged, made mistake, and did not fix it. Its impossible to talk to get past the phone operator and talk to someone who has some responsibility! The hotel is new and they have some things to fix. I had patience during the whole stay but at the very end they really messed up. They were supposed to cancel my deposit, which they claimed they did. As I was getting to the airport, they called me and said that they made a mistake and they asked for my credit card number again. Since I have no trust in the front desk there after multiple error, I told them to just reverse the transaction. I also asked to be contacted by a manager, Since then, my money has not been refunded. its 100% thievery and no one contacted me. I called every 2-3 days for a week and it's impossible to talk to someone other than the phone operator. She refuses to connect me to a manager, or connect me to the accounting department or any other help. She also did not even apologize. The beach is nice and the hotel is new, but the bartender can give you a drink with an insect inside, or the facilities may not work, or you can simply be unrightfully charged and not get refunded... Too bad they don't show any effort and the management clearly does not even care to even talk to the customer.

Das Zimmet mit Ausblick auf‘s Meer und Pool war super. . Auch der kleine Privatstrand ist schön.

Das Frühstück buffet war suboptimal. Für ein 4-5 Stern Hotel erwarte ich mehr auch in der Türkei. Die Kaffeemaschine war der Grau. Der Cesar Salat für immerhin Euro 20 war sehr basic. Schlampiger Salat mit komischer Sauce. Das Restaurant hat definitiv Luft nach oben und ist overpriced! Man isst viel besser und günstiger direkt im Städtchen an der schönen Meerpromenade!

Obsługa próbowała naciągnąć mnie na dodatkowe koszty. Zaprosiłem na śniadanie dodatkowo 3 osoby, za które zapłaciłem ekstra. Mimo to obsługa hotelu chciała mnie obciążyć dodatkową opłatą w wysokości 60 € za to, że wprowadziłem 3 osoby do hotelu. Argumentowano to tym, że hotel posiada prywatną plażę i podczas sezonu osoby z poza hotelu próbują się dostać na plażę. Niemniej jednak mieliśmy listopad, nikt z moich gości nie udał się na plażę, a jedynie zjadł śniadanie, za które dodatkowo zapłaciłem. Uważam całą sytuację za bardzo nie fair. Wielokrotnie zatrzymywałem się w tej sieci hoteli, ale taka sytuacja zdarzyła mi się po raz pierwszy.

The hotel is excellent by all standards, from the reception to the room to the breakfast and the service, the staff especially the kind Consu and polite Sefa . Thank you to them, they made our stay easier and provided us with our needs before we even asked for them. Because it is a resort , it is far from both the Çeşme center and Alacati, but there is a bus that stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to both directions and other destinations. The trip costs 60 Turkish Lira or less.

De kamers waren vuil, de badkamerdeur was kapot en het onderhoud liet duidelijk te wensen over. Daarnaast waren eten en drank extreem duur in verhouding tot de kwaliteit. Het verblijf was zeker zijn geld niet waard.
