Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos, Ramada All-Inclusive Resort

We were at this hotel 12 years ago, and again 3 years ago, and we returned again because we loved it. All the staff were friendly and helpful no matter what we asked. The grounds were very well maintained. The room was spacious and, although a bit dated, very clean. The safe was new and worked flawlessly. The key card access was also new and we never had a problem unlocking it. Lots of options on site - 2 bars open from 11:00 to 11:00 and another from 11:00 to 2:00. A quiet, adults only pool, as well as 3 other pools all monitored by security. The beach could have used a few more lounge chairs and umbrellas or palapas, but the otherwise it was great. Lots of kayaks, boogie boards and bicycles (with helmets) to borrow. They were a little lacking in daytime organized activities. Weekends were hectic with an influx of locals, which made for long lineups at the buffet and bars, but we like the fun and partylike atmosphere they make - always laughing and having a good time. Food was varied and fresh at every meal. We'd go back again.

We always enjoy our stay at the Decameron Los Cocos. We love swimming in the ocean. There is always something good to eat. The fresh fruit at breakfast is amazing.

Nos mandaron al 4 módulo hay que caminar mucho, queda lejos del mar y del comedor, nos dieron una habitación grande pero muy deteriorada, los colchones estaban muy duros , el baño olía feo por la noche, del otro lado queda una montaña y un día olía mucho a humo, se metio el olor a la habitación, le faltó variedad en la comida, los camastros de la playa son de plástico rígido y pues llega un momento en que te cansas , la verdad me atrevo a decir todo esto porque no es barato y hemos ido al Decameron de Bucerias y pues esperábamos algo similar 😞

This is an older hotel that is far from the airport, the wifi seemed to work only in the lobbies of each floor ( nice seating area) That being said, its clean, its safe, the people are extremely friendly, lots of pool chairs around the pools and on the beach. It has a list of drinks posted with their ingredients at the bar for people wanting to try something new. We walked from our hotel to the Decameron coral (20 min walk on the beach) and got to enjoy free drinks there which was nice. I think its a great value for your money, but if you are accustomed to 5*, you wont like it here. If you are looking for a great deal with Mexican authenticity, clean rooms, friendly atmosphere then you will like it here. I personally enjoyed the food, the breakfast omelet lady would sing when so worked. I will miss that.

I really enjoyed my time here. Don't let the 1 hours drive here deter you, it is worth the drive. The food was really good and they did a good job switching up the menu. Also there are 2 other decameron resorts close by that you are also allowed to visit and partake in all activities and food options. The entertainment staff are all amazing and really work hard making sure everyone has a great time. Bar service is top notch as well. Nothing bad to say about thus place at all. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Needs more chairs attached to rooms and around the pools. Lounges are not comfortable for some.

This is our third time here, but first time in adults only. Thing that annoys me are what I call “pool pigs”. As soon as the sun comes up they put their towels on the lounge chairs to save them but don’t occupy them. Took pictures this morning and of twenty some lounge chairs only two were occupied. This is totally unacceptable and rude behaviour and should not be tolerated by the resort. Other than that the experience has been good.
