Black Mountain Inn

The original portion of the house was built in 1830. She's quirky and creaky, like all old houses should be. There is a coffee shop and a breakfast/lunch (tacos) place within walking distance.

The area was very pretty. The key was ready and waiting for us on our arrival. The room was ok. It had a rustic and antique look to it, but wasn't too comfortable. The bed was lumpy and the shower head wasn't working well. Generally, it was a good value.

There was no breakfast! Should not be shown on line as a bed & breakfast. No air but was comfortable in September. Good location.

Perfectly located in Black Mountain tucked away. Charming and Cozy. June is the sweetest.

Very unique historical property.

exactly how I imagined from the pictures and details. it was quiet and a great place for some alone time (mother of 5). The property is far but not too far from restaurants which would be great for anyone who wants to get out into the woods but not too far incase you get hungry. I have never stayed at a B+B before but I will never go back to a hotel again if they are like this one. The one thing I will note is Breakfast consists of coffee, hot tea, and fruit. I had no problem with that and June informed me of exactly that when I got there. I saw comments about expecting more from previous guests but there is no misinformation of what to expect, at least during my stay.

I loved the house and all the history! It was a beautiful location right near downtown Black Mountain. The host was so kind and welcoming.

We missed the air conditioning and found the bathroom to be quite small. However that only added to the historical experience.

Beautiful old house with renovated rooms. We stayed in Michael’s room. Well decorated and clean. Very comfortable bed.
