It’s beautiful, comfortable, and the hosts are wonderful! Ari’s food is amazing, and Billy and Ari’s knowledge and love for their city and home are contagious.

There were more stairs than we expected.

I was interested in this place because of the free breakfast, having local hosts, and a location tucked away from the centro with views! It did not disappoint! The breakfast was fantastic, the hosts were beyond welcoming, and the view and location were superior. The pictures of the B&B do not do it justice. So glad I found this place. We would definitely return and recommend.

The best B&B experience I’ve ever had! Billy was incredibly welcoming and helpful — from the detailed pre-arrival instructions to personally meeting me and helping with my luggage. The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the city. The decoration is done with great taste and heart, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere everywhere. I cherished every moment spent at the casa — from a refreshing early morning swim in the heated pool to a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast by Ari, who truly adds warmth and charm to the house. Every member of the team, including the housekeeper and gardener, was friendly and attentive. It felt like a dream come true — a stay I’ll never forget. Highly recommended!

the shower in Trini could function better.

Casa Zuniga is perched on the hill very close to the funicular and has spectacular views. The grounds have beautiful plantings, quirky details and lots of common space to hang out. Ari and Billy were extremely welcoming and their recommendations were all spot on. I loved wandering through the scenic town, taking the handy funicular down the hill, meeting other guests at breakfast and taking in the views.

That I had to leave at the end of my stay.

Great for those who like to explore and walk stairs! Amazing view. Worth it.

From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by a level of hospitality that went far beyond what we could have expected. The owners, Billy and Ari, take personal attention to a whole new level, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. The homemade breakfast was nothing short of amazing. Every morning, we were treated to fresh, delicious dishes that felt like a true home-cooked experience. Whether it was a traditional local meal or a more contemporary twist on comfort food, every bite was packed with care and flavor. You could tell that Billy and Ari took great pride in preparing these meals, and they made sure we had everything we needed to start our day off right. One of the highlights of our stay was the community breakfast table. It brought together guests from all over the world, sparking lively discussions and offering the chance to learn so much from each other. We swapped travel stories, shared recommendations, and connected in ways that made the experience feel even more special. The warm atmosphere Billy and Ari cultivated made it easy to feel like part of a bigger family. On top of that, the hosts provided us with personal guidance on sightseeing and activities. They didn’t just point us in the direction of popular tourist spots—they took the time to understand our interests and recommended hidden gems that we would have never discovered on our own. The 10 ride funicular card helps with getting up and down the hill, but we often walked up or down and enjoyed the wall murals. The level of hospitality was truly next-level. Ask Aari to share her cooking expertise with you. We will be back, my daughter already booked her stay for July as she will be attending language school nearby and Ari and Billy already invited her back.

The pool was like a hot green house, we did not use, but we did see it attended to and cleaned professionally several times during our stay. I did need more room to showcase this amazing place but sadly I ran out of room ;(

Casa Zuniga is outstanding in every way possible! Fabulous location, comfortable room, delicious breakfasts, friendly and generous hosts, exceptionally charming facility! This a unique place with lots of history and beautiful art on every wall. It is a 10++++ location.

I can not think of anything that could be improved. I would say, “Keep up the amazing service.”

Casa Zuniga is a beautiful space! The rooms are spacious with spectacular views of the city. There are also many common areas to enjoy the house from, and the shared breakfasts with the other guests were always such a treat. The location is also super convenient being right next to the Funicular. Billy, Ari, and Carmen were wonderful hosts and we can’t wait to come back and call this our home.
