Casa Zuniga B&B

It is a beautiful house with wonderful view and very helpful hosts who meet you and help you with the luggage. The host even makes an interesting hike with history and geology explanations.

The breakfast was home cooked and delicious. The views are amazing. We stayed in room "Max" with a king bed and private patio. Billy and Ari are excellent hosts. I highly recommend this place.

What did I like ? Absolutely everything. The location was amazing. Wonderful views over the city. My room was splendid. Spacious, spotless and comfortable. The hosts? I only met Billy on introduction when he showed me around their Wonderful space. If you like art and quirky? You are going to love this. He couldn't do enough to make sure I was going to be comfortable. Ira , I met before breakfast. You can get fresh coffee as early as 7 am . It was like talking with a long time friend . I Absolutely adored her. A great sense of humour, very intelligent and nothing for breakfast was too much trouble. She makes the most amazing breakfast I must add. Her pancakes are to die for . She made plenty and my eyes wanted to eat more but my stomach is saying no, you eat too much lol. Her eggs are divine too! She certainly cooks with love . When I come back I plan on staying longer and will most definitely Absolutely stay here . Just a wonderful homely feel and I couldn't have asked for more. Nothing. It was perfection

This was probably the coolest most unique stay I've had in recent memory. The property had fantastic reviews and still, it far exceeded my expectations! The B&B was so uniquely built and had so much art and sculptures it's in my top 3 museums i saw in Guanajuato! The hosts go above and beyond to make guests feel at home, from greeting you upon arrival, making sure you have all info needed to best enjoy the incredible city of Guanajuato to the absolutely lovely breakfasts they prepare every morning. I can't say enough positive things about my stay at Casa Zuniga. The view from the property is exceptional. I've struggled with sleep my entire life, however I got some of the best nights rest at this property. It's magical. The rooms are spacious, and quiet. I loved how even the bathroom water is filtered. Can't recommend Casa Zuniga enough.

There's nothing I would change about my stay, and can't think of anything I could critique. I felt like I was staying with family at Casa Zuniga. I can't wait to come back to Guanajuato and when I do, I'm staying here at Casa Zuniga!

We really enjoyed our stay. Billy and Ari are wonderful hosts, greeting our cab when it arrived, giving us a tour of the property. It's a little funky in a wonderful way, on a steep hillside above the city, which gives you incredible views of the whole city below you. You can take the funicular up or down to the historic center - we walked down the many steps and took the funicular back up. Breakfast is wonderful and family style, with all the guests at one table, so you can meet people and hear about their current adventures. The bedroom was really large, and the bed comfortable.

Not much negative to say. The bathroom set up is a little funky, with older pipes, the hot water coming and going - it was hard to find a setting where the shower temperature was constant. But I spoke to a friend who is staying in GTO for several months and he said that was typical. Not nearly enough of an issue to affect our overall good experience

The sunsets on the balcony were stunning and the hosts were outstandingly friendly and accommodating.

Be prepared to ascend and descend stairs all over town and to get to and from Casa Zúñiga.

Great host and breakfast. Clean and spacious facilities. Host very helpful and friendly. Wonderful view of city far below.

Location is difficult to reach, one must climb up a mountain about 800 steps fron city center.

Casa Zuniga was amazing. It was like staying in an eclectic art gallery. Everywhere you wandered you saw something beautiful and creative. Billy, Ari, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast everyday was delicious and satisfying. We hope to return someday and explore even more of the area.

This property is the only place you should consider when visiting the incredible town of Guanajuato. The hosts were delightful, the location was perfect, and everything exceeded expectations. Book it already!
