"Amazing restaurant but dated accommodation "

Restaurant food at The Anchor Bar was exceptional, credit to the chef. Good location to Airlie Main Street. Rooms are very dated and although maintained really showing their age. Noise from other guests very loud to the point of seeming to be in the same room. Connecting doors may as well be left open. No privacy on balconies at all and need to keep curtains closed in case the neighbours are on their balconies. Bathrooms could do with a really good scrub floor to ceiling.

Such a good view, friendly staff but unfortunately room needs an update! I couldn’t sleep properly because for the fact that my body started to itch a lot since I lay in their bed , there were some parasites on the sofa and I was disgusted to lie down or sit there I’m not so sure if it was bed bugs They need to change mattresses and sofa that’s for sure

WOW from the moment we walked into the foyer we new this was a unique Motel. Staff at reception were so welcoming assisted us with our luggage , took time to orientate us to our new surroundings.We had a minor leak in our room and without hesitation the owners Michele and Danny upgraded our room to even more spectacular views.They could not have been more accommodating .Staying at Whitsunday Terraces is a must if visiting Airlie Beach. We plan to return soon.Magnificent pools x2 Everything was perfect.The most Gracious Hosts we have had the pleasure to meet. Keith and Michelle Foster

the unit is spacious with good views. unfortunately NO wi-fi exept 200m down the hill at reception. Also no batteries in remote could not watch television. Lady at reception was friendly
