Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian who must be present at all times. Please note that this property does not have any policies, procedures or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual "Schoolies Week" period. It does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period. Please note that this property has a strict 'No Party Policy'. Failure to comply with property policies may result in the eviction of guests and the loss of any deposits or payments made. Please note that there is a 1.5% surcharge when you pay with a credit card. Credit card surcharge is not refunded with cancelations. Please note thatplease do not permit school students, school leavers, or tertiary students under the age of 18 years old to stay in the resort unless they are part of a family reservation where a responsible parent or guardian will be present throughout the entire duration of the stay. Whalewatch Ocean Beach Resort does not have the resources and staffing levels required to safely manage the specific requirements of young adults during schoolies week and similar events to ensure the wellbeing, safety, and peaceful enjoyment of all guests during these high-risk periods. A credit card is required for security at check-in. Guests are responsible for any damage to the property and must report it immediately. If our rules are breached, such as through noise complaints or damage, this can result in guests being removed from the resort.
