SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Antonio Airport

It was close distance from the mall we spent most of our time at and my class. We did not have to pay the $5 per night for parking, but I’m still waiting on my $60 card hold that I had to pay at check in. The sofa in room had a trundle bed under so it was bigger than other places we have stayed at, no carpet in room was a plus also.

The reason I booked it was because it was expected to rain the entire time we were in town and they have an indoor pool. However it smelled so strong of chemicals we couldn’t even last a min viewing it without having trouble breathing. They closed it after this, but the lobby and possibly the whole 1st floor smelled like this. Also many things were rusted, and smelled and doors did not lock for restroom or shower.

Location from and to the security parking and airport

No washcloths. No shampoo or conditioner. I called about the washcloths. A person opened my locked door without knocking. Gave me a washcloth and the tub rub. Then someone knocked on my door, a female who handed me more washcloths. Then I told her about the shampoo and conditioner. She did come back with fresh bottles.

Good place near the airport

The room had some damage. Handle was missing to the sliding door to the shower, bathroom wouldn’t lock.

Close to were we needed to be.

The plug ins didn’t work, needs repairs especially the bathrooms.

Clean and convenient location to SAT airport. Near the North Star mall.
