"Enjoy our stay"

Felt safe and it was very clean ... If we went back we would go to pool ... I had to work...so I left without enjoying the pool .

In fact, the bed was much better than I expected, very firm and comfy

Maybe I have a wrong expectation of Hyatt being a luxurious hotel when it is not, at least not at this location? Missing a restaurant for a nice breakfast, Starbucks's "breakfast" is not my kind.

"Nice area with plenty of things to do"

Pros: friendly check-in, nice big rooms with rainforest showerhead, comfortable bed, located near plenty of shopping and food trucks (at night) Cons: you park at a separate parking structure ($16 a day), the cars outside can get pretty loud at night

"Stay in Long Beach"

Nice hotel, great location in The Pike near restaurants, shopping. Only consideration would be the off-site parking, but it is still very close.

"Disappointing for Hyatt"

I always love staying at Hyatt hotels. This hotel was very mediocre ,unlike most of my experiences at Hyatt. The mattress was quite soft, again unlike other Hyatt stays. Desk staff weren't particularly welcoming. The air conditioner was noisy. The curtains did not close over the window completely (due to the set rod to avoid the air conditioning unit) so light shown through all night long.
