Andaz Napa, By Hyatt

My girlfriends and I spent a girls’ weekend at the Andaz Napa Valley over Labor Day. Overall, we found it is a solid option in downtown Napa Valley. While our experience was mostly positive, I was surprised to find out the hotel does not have a fitness center. With that said, they do partner with a nearby health club. I also think there is room for improvement in the hotel’s cleanliness. We found hair and a hair tie behind the sofa sleeper in our room and there was a large stain on one of the cushions. Fortunately, this was mostly outweighed by the hotel’s location and wonderful staff. The restaurant staff, especially Merrick, were amazing! While not a 5/5, this hotel is a perfect fit and one I’d recommend if you’re looking for accommodations with shopping and dining options within walking distance.

Andaz and Hyatt never seem to fail. Always a pleasant visit with quality rooms and other assets at the location. We love Andaz as it still remains quaint and not loud and busy with a huge lobby. We like the reception where it is more personal and not the behind the desk counter like most hotels. The people are special and that what make a successful business. We will return on the next trip.

Andaz staff and hotel were most accommodating and helpful with our wedding group booking....working hard to allow early check in and pleasantly assisting our group with any requests and suggestions....breakfast was tasty too!

Andaz Napa is a great spot when visiting Napa Valley. Located in the heart of downtown Napa, walking to restaurants and shops is very convenient. Staff at Jarvis Estates suggested the property as we were attending a function there and they were spot on. We additionally visited 6 other wineries, and most were within 30 minutes (not planned that way). The staff is very helpful and accommodating. It is simply a great boutique hotel in Napa. We’ll stay there again.

Really terrible experience after being at many Andaz hotels before. The room has the (loud) air conditioning blowing directly at the bed, the two rooms were booked were not ready at 4pm check-in because they had global travelers (?) with authorized late check outs and they were fully booked, the noise from outside is really loud and the floors, closet door and desk were all in poor condition with a dirty chair. Bed is comfortable at least...

What a wonderful property, right on the main street, yet quiet and modern with plenty of ammenities and parking. We had most peaceful rest. Special thanks to cordial and professional hostess that greeted us and accommodated our check in and followed up after

The one positive thing I can say about this hotel is that it is in a convenient location. Beyond that, my stay was less than optimal. First of all, this hotel is very loud. You will hear the dumpsters being emptied every morning at 7:30 am. More aggravating though was the absence of hot water the last 2 days of my 4 night stay. We reported this to the hotel staff on day 3, and they sent someone up to check on it. That person assured me that the problem was resolved, but the next morning we had no hot water. For the rate I paid, which was north of $600/night, I thought that the expectation of having hot water was reasonable. Apparently Hyatt and the Andaz do not agree. They sent me a note saying that issue would be fixed in the future. Not much help to me. There are many nice hotels in the Napa Valley area that would be a great alternative to the Andaz.

The people! Hands down, the highlight of our stay. Thank you all for such kindness and exceptional service!

Beautiful hotel with excellent rooms. Great location close to EVERYTHING. Need to work on food and beverage specifically on the breakfast. Understaffed. Front desk Manager was great. Reception staff amazing.
