"Fabulous service "

Awesome service! They even arranged to send our luggage to the next city’s hotel. The room was lovely and the breakfast was truly lovely! Only a couple odd space issues... humidifier and glass enclosed bathroom was awkward, no power outlet within reach of the bed. If they swapped the mount of the bathroom door to open out and added a longer extension cord to the desk - problems solved. Truly lovely stay over all

Wonderful hotel with great restaurants and location. There was still some construction going on which should be completed soon. Then it will be even better!

This is one of the largest room ive ever had in Japan. Location is perfect for us. And there are many local small shops around. They offer Nespresso coffee and Ronnefadeldt, one of my favorite tea. This place is perfect for a couple and also family members. Like other reviews room was dark but it gaves us more mood for me and my lovely girlfriend. I strongly recommend this place!!!

Unusual modern hotel, very clean and staff are friendly. Everything was explained to us in detail. The room was a little dark with no option to turn the lights brighter. Hotel is across the road from the palace but all other sights are further away.

"9 days in Kyoto"

We had a great time in Kyoto. The Screen Hotel ist right at the corner of the imperial garden, in the old city. Every tourist spot within walking distance or by public transport (bus and subway). The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms with good beds, it serves a good and tasty Japanese breakfast (English as well). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of good Japanese restaurants just in walking minutes.

Unusual hotel - all room different. Ours was very spacious and stylish but mood lighting made it impossible to see or read anything. Huge screen TV but instructions made it impossible to use. Quiet area. Boutique shopping away from the downtown but only 25 min walk away

The Screen was by far the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is perfect and the room was clean and beautiful (and about 5x the size of other Japanese hotel rooms).
