Hyatt Place Dallas/Garland/Richardson

Great place to stay for a conference @ the Curtis Culwell Center. Room was clean and comfortable . Breakfast was excellent. Book your reservation early.

Clean, comfortable, and very spacious.

Both evening and morning desk clerks were very short when spoken to and unfriendly.

It was close to the event I was attending. Plenty of places to eat close by.

I didn't have anything that wasn't nice. Nothing out of the ordinary at all. It's clean, nice staff, nice room and great breakfast.

This place is dirty and filled with ants. Very disappointed.

We had a reservation at Hyatt Place Richardson/Garland 5101 N President George Bush Hwy Garland, Texas 75040 972 414-3500 on March 25 - 30, 2026. We have stayed in this very hotel no less than 10 times in the last year. We are in Dallas every 5 or 6 weeks and have stayed here each time. This trip as usual we had a confirmed reservation booked through a third party, Booking.com Upon arrival I was given a different amount owed than what my confirmation receipt stated we owed. The front desk agent requested the manager come to assist. The manager came. His name was Riad (Ray) Alyatim. I showed my confirmation receipt to the manager. He reviewed it then looked at the confirmation the hotel had received. There was a difference of approximately $50 or less. Mr. Alyatim told me that he would not honor my confirmation receipt and I could just cancel. Our total stay was over $500 which we were prepared to pay. I ask if he could possibly reconsider seeing as we are Hilton Honor members. I ask him to consider the number of previous reservations that we have had at his very hotel. He told me he saw this information upon looking at the computer and still didn't care (his exact words). I was told to either pay his invoice charge or cancel. The front desk agent who has checked us in on several other trips was mortified at the mangers rudeness. I told Mr. Ayatim that he was being very rude and he said, "Thank you very much". I ask him if I could have his supervisor's name and he said, "He's the supervisor." He suggested I reach out to the Hilton corporation directly if I needed someone over him, so that's my next email.

The breakfast room was clean and spacious. The food was good.

No concerns about the front desk staff but the hotel infrastructure was not up to the Hyatt standards based on my experiences across almost all the states being a Globalist. So far this is the worst of them all pertaining to infrastructure. Even after turning the knob all the way to the hot side of the shower, I got only a mild warm water (around 8AM) and that too stopped within 2 mins into taking shower and the water flow pressure was too low as well. More importantly the air conditioner have only one option to run the fan "always" and no option/button to switch off. So even after I got the required temperature in my room this made me very much uncomfortable and made me sick with allergic reaction on the same night with cold.
