I can honestly say I did not like anything about this hotel I stayed at a Motel 6 before and it was better than this. The staff were rude and disrespectful and talk down to everybody I have never

I did not like the staff and everybody that worked there as a whole I felt disrespected and unwanted last time I'll ever stay at a Marriott Courtyard

"Great stay until the last night."

I liked that the property was close to downtown St. Augustine are. We were in town for the Nights of Lights. I liked that they were renovating the rooms and our room was newly renovated.

I did not like that we were woken up at 5:00 AM on a Monday morning by a garbage truck. Our room was right above the dumpsters and all of the old furniture from the rooms were outside our windows. I was woken up to the loudest sounds and noise! At first I thought it had to be at least 8:00 and the blackout curtains were doing their job. I was shocked to see that it was 5:00 AM. I went to call the front desk, but I couldn’t because the phone was not connected. We had to go downstairs and complain. The person who was in charge was very apologetic. She says that that has not happened before. I feel like guests should not be placed right above a dumpster when active renovations are going on in a hotel.

I liked the location and attention to the client.

The location was under renovations and we were not told about it until arrival. The water was scheduled to be off if necessary between 11am and 4pm which would have been bad had we needed to shower between events. We would have stayed at another Marriott location had we known about the construction due to allergies to dust. luckily, we were given a newly renovated room which was away from the other construction.

Very unhappy with facilities. They were under renovation and we were not notified beforehand. I feel that booking.com should know these details before posting pictures that are unrealistic to customers. I truly think we are owed a refund. There was issues with hot water, the premises were loaded everywhere with construction materials and vehicles blocking parking and dumpsters all over. It was unsightly and dirty and they had the doors propped open during all hours so therefore no security or an animal could come into the hotel. When we inquired about hot water they told us the boilers were on the other side of the facility so please just let the water run for 15 to 20 minutes and the clerk was rude. There was no complimentary coffee or breakfast items. We had to order the coffee and pay for it as well. Considering the renovation issues I think it would’ve be a good faith gesture to offer a discount on our stay and to at least provide some coffee for the patrons. Booking.com should also be held responsible since your company recommended the hotel. Please advise.
