The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain

Really pleased with the Bonvoy Ambassador/Milestone birthday recognition, thank you to the property for the lovely upgrade and welcome amenities, much appreciated! Property was quiet with good sleep quality. Unfortunately it was just a quick one night stay so didn't have the opportunity to try all of the offerings and amenities (including the resort fee items, I wish hotels would not charge those), but everything we did experience was on point.

This Ritz-Carlton property consistently exceeds expectations. The level of service and kindness extended by every team member is truly exceptional. From the moment you enter the gate you know you’ll are going to have a relaxing trip. The valets are helpful and always have a smile on their face. Mike is so full of information and resort tips and tricks. The walk to the room is always one of my favorite parts because I learn about something new I need to see or try. Holly at the front desk is a true gem. She is helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels at home. If there is a problem or question, you can count on Holly to stay on the case until it is resolved. The staff at the pool is wonderful. Nick, Josh, and Ivan are easy to find around the pool and always ready to help. The staff at Core makes dining here an experience like no other. The food is great. Ramon and his staff are always ready to answer a question or share a fun fact about the menu. Jeff and Nick are attentive and personable. Dylan makes fabulous drinks and Rodney finds excellent wines and is a wealth of information. The spa at this property is wonderful. Cher and her team provide a 5 star experience. Erica’s massages are a stress relief miracle. Jonathan is also very helpful. This is a property I plan to visit again.

One of my favorite vacations. Suppose you are looking for a five-star resort if you like nature, if you want a slow pace, and if you are looking for a great spa. This is the place!

This is my third visit to The Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain and I'm absolutely blown away every time! From the moment my friend and I arrived we were greeted, attended to and felt so welcomed. The property is gorgeous, the restaurants on site are incredible, and the spa is heavenly! There are miles of hiking trails behind the canyon and the Tortolita Mountains are breathtaking, especially with the uplit cacti at night. I would like to highlight the exceptional service we received from some of the staff: Michelle Sun (She is EXCEPTIONAL! The Ritz Carlton is beyond fortunate to have her working for them!), Lori Kelechian, Joe (Valet), Andy Gatica (Valet), Kayla (Valet), Bella & Luke (Ignite), Deion, Jill & Tetiana (Spa), Jeff (CORE Kitchen), Robert (Concierge), and Nick & Ivan (Spa pool and Turquesa). I look forward to bringing more of my friends and family to this exquisite property! Thank you so very much for making my visits so memorable again.

Came here over New Years to celebrate an anniversary with my husband. We ate at Core for the New Year’s Eve 5 course menu. Quality and taste was terrible. Servers not trained well but friendly. We did like the wagyu course. Not worth $600. Pool was nice and relaxing. Not enough servers, drink and food orders took a long time. Pool in the evening is a huge mess, nobody cleans up cups and towels until the next morning. We really enjoyed eating at Ignite. Sushi rolls were incredible. Drinks were strong and delicious. Hotel rooms are a little tired and need to be updated. Disappointed with how scratchy the bed sheets were. I thought this was the Ritz?? Beds were hard, we slept horribly. We enjoyed our stay but this did not feel like the Ritz. Poorly trained employees, awful room service, seemed equal to a cheap all inclusive resort. Will stay at the Four Seasons next time.

Rodney-sommelier and wine tasting Holly-reception Heidi and Sheila- servers at Core Ernesto and Victoria- hosts at Core ALL the valet staff, Christian at the pool, and consistent housekeeping. I started my review by highlighting the amazing staff we had over the course of our 8-day 20th anniversary trip. They truly made a difference, and I hope management knows how valuable these individuals were to our daily routine. While we were here, we used the Spa, all 3 restaurants, bkfst every day, the ranger station, bikes, hikes, the biz and fitness centers. When we had one small issue with our shower, we called down and James from engineering was up within 10 minutes to look at it, offered to fix it immediately, but since it was around 9 PM told us if we are going to be gone the next day, he would come back and fix it while we were gone. That was it. Our only issue and it was addressed immediately. My wife and I were super impressed. I highly recommend it for couples, but there were plenty of families here too. Fantastic experience.

I’ve stayed at many Ritz Carleton resorts and have always had a great experience up until my RC Dove Mountain experience. I would highly recommend either Lowe’s Ventana Canyon Resort or Hacienda del Sol Resort if you should ever choose to vacation in the Tucson AZ area.
