Microtel by Wyndham Puerto Princesa

The good. Great service Amazing view Clean Comfortable rooms The beach was clean The pool and ambience (especially at night) were first rate. Free airport Shuttle Free shuttle on the hour to go into the city The Bad; This place is in the middle of nowhere. Terrible roads to get to it. Very out of the way No other restaurants or stores near by. The shuttle reservations need to be booked way in advance. The "free continental breakfast" was NOT included. Until they fix the road and route to get there. I probably won't be back.

If u are only going to be in PP, then Microtel is the best choice. It has a beach access and the view is just amazing. My only negative comment is the confusion of the room advertised on this site. I booked a lagoon view and they gave me a standard room and Microtel said they (who is “they”) need to correct it. I had to pay extra for the upgrade to a beach view.

Unpleasant stay. Average breackfast. Staff not to approcable. deceiving ad. Dont fall for lagoon side. It over look a swamp and a near nothing garden. Does certainly not facing the beach as one would expect when the book lagoon side. Hotel located in midllen of nowhere. Beach looks like a bad nighmare movie. Un_bathlable and unclean. Enter at your own risk. We were not game enough to go too close to the beach. Beware of mosquitoes. Dirt road leading to hotel miles and miles long. Tho' hotel supply a shuttle to town which is so far away. Absolutely nothing to do with no night life at all. Last shuttle back to hotel is at 21.30. After 9.30 pm back to your cage. Will not go back and discourage future guess. Could not wait for our booked stay to finish.

Great beachfront hotel. They had cute beach hammocks and very nice views. The hotel staff was friendly. However, the restaurant was average. The ambiance was nice, they had live music one night but we didn’t like the food much. We asked the hotel staff to book the underground river tour, they said it was fully booked and the government was not issuing any more permits to go on the tour. However, when we went into town and asked around, the tour was still available and we managed to book it.

Great hotel with fantastic views. DON'T: go to the beach bar next door to the hotel (not sure if this is actually part of the hotel) . Drinks were overpriced and got a severe case of food poisoning-fantastic on holiday.

My father and I stayed at Microtel for two nights and it was amazing. The services was goodI and location was excellent, it was near the beach that we enjoyed just walking around during low tide, I will recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives. And for sure we will be back with my whole families.

This hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It has its own amazing, private beach with mangroves. It also has lovely hammocks to use, with a good sized pool. They also have great buffet breakfast. I also tried the food there such as sizzling bangus belly - so delicious. I absolutely loved this hotel

Hotel has a nice beach front but in the booking site when it mentions a lagoon view, there is no water. Our room did not have a refrigerator but some must according to other guests. Hotel is a long way from other amenities and you have to count on the hotel shuttle to get back and forth.

Budget beach hotel. Road to the hotel was in terrible condition (but was being worked on the last day we were there). WiFi was advertised as "available" in all room - not so much. Barely available at all in the hotel. Major dissapointmant in this day-and-age. Food was good, restaurant staff could have been a little more attentive and friendly
