"Hôtel sympa à condition de choisir une chambre bien placée."

Hôtel plutôt sympa, avec de grands espaces verts très agréables. Un havre de paix au coeur de Panajachel.

Malheureusement l'hôtel était en travaux et notre chambre était mal placée tout au bout du jardin donnant sur un petit espace laid et face à un grand mur.

"Beautiful surroundings but costly extras"

The hot spring spa, traditional Mayan sauna, tropical garden and central location made our stay enjoyable. Comfortable beds, free wifi and a spacious room. An oasis of calm in a very busy and noisy tourist hub.

I was disappointed by the supplements the hotel charged to use their facilities. For example, 150 GTQ (about $20 USD) for 30 minutes use of the sauna, The family suite I was given had a fully equipped kitchen, however, the appliances were not plugged in. The hotel charged a supplement of 150 GTQ per day x 2 (about $40 USD in total) just to plug in the refrigerator. Blackout curtains would have made sleep more comfortable. The room was extremely warm, but there was no air conditioner; there was only an electric tower fan in the bedroom.
