2nd time staying. Alisa has mastered hospitality. Workers go out of their way to make you feel welcome. From the guard at the gate to the bar tender by the pool.

Good price and decent facility. The standard rooms are located in another building across the street- one has to know as I didn’t. Excellent food options: breakfast buffet has a lot of selection so os dinner. Room service is also excellent. Gym is good so that is a plus. Airport shuttle available but although I registered they forgot me for a 3 am departure. Finally, staff is friendly and strive to provide good customer service.

"Not great but one of the best options in Accra"

This would be a 3-star hotel anywhere else but for Accra it’s a 4-star, options are pretty limited and this is one of the few hotels in the sweet spot between really expensive and really bad. This is the international NGO hotel, it’s very clear that it caters to government travelers and NGO employees. It’s dated and a little rundown but it’s also very safe and convenient. I stayed a week and there was no hot water for over 24 hours one of the days, but otherwise it was unremarkable. The staff is friendly and try to be helpful, and everyone means well. I’d stay again, but mainly because there just really isn’t a better option in this price range.

No longer value for money. Prices have increased but not the condition of the rooms and their cleanliness. Was disappointed in the condition of their bathroom in my recent visit. Soap from previous lodgers still left in the sink and generally not clean to the excellent standard typical of Alisa. Not sure what's changed but Alisa is not becoming my favourite hotel in Accra anymore
