Overton Hotel and Conference Center

Great experience. The property is getting a little outdated and could use a little modernization, but is clean and comfortable. Was there for an educational conference and the meeting rooms were great. Our breakfast and lunch were prepared and served by the Overton. The staff (front desk, cleaning, servers) were all friendly and courteous. A special shoutout to Tiffany. She is friendly, courteous and interacted great with our group.

We enjoyed our breakfast at the Pecan Grill at the Overton. We had a variety of selections and all were delicious. Emma provided excellent service.

Taylor was a lovely server with a warm smile and great welcome.

Always a terrific stay. Great facilities and location. Claire is an amazing bartender and takes great care of her customers!

We had a wonderful experience with RJ and Kylin. Kylin was our waitress and took very good care of us. She is a very pleasant lady to visit with and she made breakfast a fun time. She was very knowledgeable of the menu items and was quick to serve us. We have been visiting with RJ in the club lounge for years and it was great to see him again. He always makes us feel welcome. It’s sad the new owners got rid of the lounge but at least we still get to see him.

The waitress and waiter (Kylin & RJ) that we had were awesome! We had them multiple times and they didn't disappoint!

I am a regular at the Overton flying in to lecture at Texas Tech each semester. While there are a choice of hotels in the area, the Overton has proved, time and time again, to be the singular choice. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. As soon as I see the Overton van at the airport I know my focus can be on lecturing only as the Overton will address any/all of my needs. As an example, my last trip I left my insulin in the refrigerator and only realized it while at the airport. I called the Overton asking if they could bring the insulin to me at the airport, else I would have to miss my flight and travel back to the hotel. The Overton went to my room, retrieved my insulin and Raul brought it to me at the airport. They did not just wait outside, they parked and literally brought it into the airport for me. When I offered Raul cash, i.e. a gratuity, he said, "No sir. My father is a diabetic. I am happy to help." No better example of the entire staff could Raul have provided. God Bless the Overton!
