Overton Hotel and Conference Center

Overton Hotel in Lubbock Texas. The room was nice but the bed was not very comfortable. But the staff was above excellent. Had a wonderful experience and especially the young lady that was our waitress on Friday the 5th of June. Her name was Claire and she was attentive and incredibly personable. Such excellent service. All of the staff was the best I have ever experienced overall.

This place has seen better days. I remember being very impressed with this place and the rooms. However, it’s really gone downhill. They need to think about starting on renovations and some updates to all the rooms. I’ll stick to Marriott properties and save $$ rather than staying here until something changes.

Camden M. was outstanding from start to finish. He was friendly, personable, and made us feel welcome the moment we sat down. His service was incredibly fast, attentive, and efficient without ever feeling rushed. It's clear he genuinely enjoys what he does, and his positive personality made the entire experience even better. Great service can make a meal memorable, and Cam absolutely delivered. We'll definitely be back!

We visited the Overton for a wedding. The entire stay was awesome! We had the best service from the bar staff, especially Clay! So kind, and kept up with the fast pace needed for the party!

Great Wedding Reception We had an amazing dinner of filet mignon and rosemary chicken with potatoes and Brussels sprouts — a crisp Caesar salad and a dark chocolate cake accompanied it. Tiffany was an excellent server and took extra care of our table. She even made me decaf coffee. Yummy food and such considerate service
