Overton Hotel and Conference Center

Had a fantastic time at the bar with Eric. I’ve never had such fantastic service as I’ve had with this staff. I will be coming back every time I’m in Lubbock.

Melissa at the bar was amazing, made us feel right at home and great being able to talk with her.

Had a great Conference here for the Justice of the peace Judges Conference and service was excellent and Melissa did great servicing as bar tender waiter and customer service.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff was super friendly and the pool was fabulous! Also, love that there was a Starbucks inside. I accidentally left my clothing in the closet and Tyler Swanger kept it safe for me and FedEx’ed it to me the next day! What a kind gesture.

Cameron was my waiter at the restaurant. He was fantastic. So friendly. I was here on business and just happened to be celebrating my 68 birthday. He sat down and listened to my story. He is great. Treat him well!!!!

We stayed at the Overton for two nights and had a few problems. The TV would cut off and we would have to reset it. The front desk sent Jimmy to fix the problem but it still cut out after he left. The ice bucket was not clean, slime underneath the coffee maker, rust spots in the tub, trash stuck to the floor in the closet and a hard plastic shower curtain that was difficult to use. I gave our list of problems to the front desk clerk when we checked out but she did not seem to care. This is an expensive Hotel and we expected a better experience.

My daughter and I came down for breakfast this morning while the rest of our family decided to sleep in, and we had such a wonderful experience thanks to Alison Case. From the moment we sat down, she was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made us feel right at home and started our day off on such a positive note. The Overton Hotel has already been one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, and Alison’s outstanding service made it even better. She checked on us regularly, made sure everything was perfect, and did it all with a warm smile. It’s employees like Alison who make guests want to come back again and again. Thank you, Alison, for your excellent service and hospitality. You truly made our breakfast memorable!
