Location was pretty good

Living area fan was not spinning properly

Perfect location, walkable to center

Living area is small, facilities a little basic, superior suite is upstairs and hard to haul luggage up there

It provided the accommodation and facilities that were advertised.

It is smaller than we anticipated with little room for our large luggage with a small shower and toilet.

Approximately 15 min walk distance to main beach. When I checked in, I found the bed and the floor clean. Also I could leave my bag to entrance after I checked out, until I take off.

On my first night in the room, I saw a cockroach inside; it scurried under the bed. I saw it again later, and this time it scurried behind the fridge (I had pulled the fridge door forward while trying to open it because the door wasn’t secure. I think that’s where the cockroach came from.) I panicked and sent a message through the Booking app, but since it was late at night, they might not have seen it. I saw their WhatsApp numbers in the morning and messaged them from there. The staff member told me this is very common in Byron and that I could leave the item there. I’ve been to Byron many times and have stayed in numerous accommodations, including shared rooms in hostels, but I’ve never experienced this before. I don’t know what the item he mentioned was, but shouldn’t it have been left there before I checked in? Worst of all, no one came to leave the item he mentioned. When I went out during the day on the second day and returned to the room, I saw that nothing had changed. I had placed a foot towel in front of the fridge as a precaution, and it hadn’t even budged from its spot—meaning no one bothered to come in and check the room. As a result, I spent two sleepless nights. I would never recommend this place to anyone as sensitive as I am. I won’t even mention that the room is separated from the toilet and bathroom by just a glass partition, the shower door and the room door are the same, and you have to hang your clothes on a pipe hanging from the ceiling.
