Tulip Inn Honfleur Residence

Location was good. Staff are friendly. Rooms are dated, toilet not clean.

The hotel is perfectly situated if you are using Honfleur as a stay over before sailing from Le Harve. Easy to find although not much around for food choice in walking distance using the car to Honfleur may have been better? Parking was easy, check in quick & room ok.

Room safe did not work, nor did the bathroom extactor fan, and two handles were missing off our chest of drawers. Breakfast OK, plenty of parking.

Very clean, good facilities, close to centre and Lidl too. Friendly English speaking staff.

Perfect location for seeing Honfleur, very easy to find with plenty of parking. Five minute walk to the old town. We had a deluxe apartment for four people, chosen because it said "two baths". This meant exactly that, there were two showers but only one toilet so don't expect two complete bathrooms.

We were given a ground floor room with no air con and the only thing that opened was a French door. We upgraded to an upstairs room, only to find that it was the same. We had to prop the door open with the table to get some air on a hot night.

Good position just 10 minute walk from the harbour, quay, shops, churches, restaurants. Easy free parking, pleasant helpful reception staff. Comfortable third floor apartment with fabulous views. Handy to have a supermarket just across the road. All in all excellent value from a good quality hotel.

The hotel is difficult to find, as google maps can’t locate it! We ended up asking for directions, and finally found it. If you have that problem, it’s the street on the back (lower area) of where Google takes you. Anyhow, the hotel is nice, with a pool and garden area. It is within a short walk to the restaurant, center area. However, if you have mobility issues, it would be difficult to get the center. There is no AC, but Honfleur is pretty cool in the evening.
