Tulip Inn Honfleur Residence

We booked this hotel for a two night stay in Honfleur but as soon as we saw the room cancelled the second night. Not sure what room the photo’s on the website show but it definitely was not ours. The room was shabby with numerous stains on the furniture, with dust and dirt along the skirting board and floor. The bath panel was broken, the towel rail was old and stained and the floor was dirty. The doors to the kitchenette had been taken off and the surround just left with the hinges still in tact. The microwave was dirty as was the extractor fan and sink. The room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the indoor swimming pool area so was noisy and very hot with no air conditioning or fan. When we complained to the gentleman on duty we were told the bathroom issue was not dangerous and there was nothing wrong with the room. Definitely not what was on the website and not worth the rate charged. Not a hotel to recommend or stay in ever again.

We had a fabulous stay at Tulip Inn. The staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. We had a problem with our refrigerator and a replacement was provided immediately. We loved the pool - more often than not we were the only ones using it and the sauna was an added bonus! Honfleur was a short walk away. A perfect stay- comfortable beds and great having the option to self - cater. Thanks for a great stay. We hope to return 😊

Great 2nd stay at the Tulip - 1 bedroom apartment and pool is fab, as is the proximity to the town centre - parking on site can be a lottery though

Nice hotel in Honfleur with helpfull staff

Very good place to stay for central Honfluer easy to find with free parking and within 5min stroll to the town. small pool but lovley for a dip after a journey. Breakfast reasonably priced with a good selection. Would stay there again.

Close to town, very easy to walk to many dining options etc..

Stayed here just one night, on our way to Bretagne. The hotel is ok, nothing special, but good enough for one or a few nights. We stayed in a studio room, with a little kitchenette which was well equipped. . Everything was clean, the basics like shampoo and soap were available in the room. The bed was nice, the hotel quiet and noise free. The receptionist was friendly, but did not go the extra mile. According to him there was nothing available except for the more expensive studio, but the hotel was almost empty, so we felt a bit ripped off. The location of the hotel is perfect, 10 minute walk to the center of Honfleur. Be careful though, parts of the route have no sidewalk and a lot of traffic.

Fully equipped, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Free parking on site.

Well located easy to find one of the few hotels in Honfleur with parking. Let down by cleanliness of room - carpet stained, some areas obviously not cleaned regularly or at all
