Tulip Inn Honfleur Residence

Original room had an adjoining room door. We could hear the family next door as if the door was open. We were upgraded to a kitchen style room with a great view of yhe Honfleur bridge. Pizza at the hotel was ok and filled the void. Free parking on site, breakfast not included but available. Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast buffet of scrambled eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, cereal, coffee, etc.

Hotel was functional and convenient for Honfleur. No restaurant was an inconvenience having travelled a long way that day. Needed to walk in belting rain to town of Honfleur.

Lovely clean room and the bed was very comfy. Reception staff were pleasant and professional and there was plenty of car parking available. The negatives were that the toilet did not have any soap in it or a towel so you had to walk through to the seperate bathroom to wash your hands and in the bath room the shower was attached to the wall about 2 feet over the bath meaning you had to hold the shower head in one hand whilst showering to wash anything higher than your knees. A real shame and for a “deluxe” room just not good enough.

Great place for visiting honfleur or for an overnight stop off point - 15 minute walk to harbour and town centre - good parking and quiet .

A wonderful stay, at a wonderful apartment in a wonderfully pretty and interesting town. We booked this as a halfway stop between Nantes and Calais on our journey back to Dover and then onto Norfolk. We are going to return next year to the same apartment and spend a few more days in the very pretty town of Honfleur.

They offered to drink tap water because they were stingy with putting a bottle of drinking water to the apartments for 260 euros)) One coffee capsule per person for two days they considered quite a generous offer)) They simply forgot to put shampoo and other toiletries, two days in a row. And in order to wash your hands with soap in the toilet, you just need to go to the shower and take a handful from the dispenser)) And everything else is great)) It's a Shame!!! They don't even apologize to you)) P.S. The flies in the breakfast room don't seem to bother them at all((

Very nice stay, excellent beds. Pool nearby is very convenient. We srayed in the superior apartment with separate living and bedroom wirh a nice terrace. Very convenient. New coffee cups for the coffemachine every morning would have been nice. The machine only fitted the cups sold at the reception. The wifi reception in the room where we stayed on the 1 st floor was very bad. When mentioning this on checkout, the reponse was that the internet in all of Honfleur is bad. No inquiry on checkout of how was your stay or whatsoever. The outside terrace area near the pool could have been a little bit nicer, nothing but dead plants.

Checking in and out in this hotel was quite easy as the receptionists were friendly and accommodating even though communicating with us in English was challenging. We booked a room with a kitchenette and it was spacious; it had sufficient storage to hang our clothes and store our things. Also, the bed was comfortable and water pressure in the shower was great. However, the condition of the room was in dire need of improvement and maintenance .The drapes were stained and dingy, mold on the bedroom‘s ceiling, the heaters and the air conditioning were not working ( they were turned off ), towel warmer in the bathroom was broken. In addition , the hotel is located on the main street, making it an easy driving access to the old town, but, there is no pedestrian crossing from the hotel to reach the sidewalk across the street, this is quite hazardous for pedestrians. Finally, as the hotel offers laundry facilities, it is essential that it mentions that it is with a cost and it has to be arranged during front desk hours.
