Seemed very short-staffed. Waited almost 15 minutes for someone to show up at the lobby coffee bar. Another guest and I walked all over the first floor area at 6:45 and didn’t find anyone. Also Saturday evening bartenders at the lobby bar were very slow and appeared to be very inexperienced.

This is a good hotel for a neanderthal. Solid concrete floors, concrete walls and ceilings. The hotel is void of any color or joy, like sleeping in a cave or bunker. Worse than that, the AC unit was so loud that my wife and I gave up and left after a few hours of trying to sleep. I have been a Hilton Honors member for 24 years; this is the first time I just simply could not stay in a hotel. The investment company that owns the hotel refused to credit my AX card, but Hilton corporate covered me with 55,000 points. The hotel does have great front of the house staff, so I gave them 2 stars for that.

When in Holland this is the only hotel we stay at.

Great location. Very friendly. The room was a little noisy due to the air conditioning going on and off at night. The beds are a little soft. No carpeting on the floor. Unable to raise the temperature on the thermostat. Web excess is great. TV has lots of choices. Good breakfast.

Shape of the room was odd and inconvenient. Otherwise it was great.

Wonderful staff. Nice shower, separate bathroom, great location, free parking. Liked the security.

Slippery, cold floors, small refrigerator. no extras except for single cup coffee pot, no microwave except downstairs.

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip, and the location is excellent, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. It’s about 45-50 minutes from the Grand Rapids airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the breakfast, which had a menu with options like avocado toast, a lox bagel, and more. The coffee was great, and the prices were reasonable. The room layout was a bit odd, and the vibe felt a little "dark," but I had a clean and comfortable bed with a great hot shower, so it met all my needs. However, the shower doesn’t have a curtain or door, so it got a bit messy and wet. Despite these minor issues, I would return for a leisure trip. They also have a small bar where we hung out after work a couple of nights. Just a heads-up: the gym is small, with two treadmills, but one was broken, which made it tricky to use for a few days.

Everything about this stay was amazing: the location, the cleanliness, the modern room. But what I loved the most was the kindness and effort of the staff to make our time here special. They really went out of their way to make it memorable, and at a time when it’s difficult to find good service, it was a breath of fresh air.
