Tulyp, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This is a lovely hotel in a nice location. It’s very fun, with a coffee bar and regular bar on the first level open to the public. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is great. I like the modern feel to everything.

The modern look and room layout was nice. We ate dinner and breakfast there and it was good. It was clean. It was only one block from shops/restaurants, but we didn't go to any. We did go to the very nice Memorial Day parade.

We were on 3rd floor and a wedding party was happening on the 5th floor. Right as we were going to bed a little before 10pm on a Sunday night there was loud music and the guests hollering, could hear it all the way in our room. If not for that it would have been nice and quiet. There was no loud/fan etc to put on. The big stark bathroom should have a bench or something to lay your clothes and things on or sit down. It was very bright early in the morning.

Small room. Reminded me of dorm room living. Terrible cheap faucet in bathroom, because of improper install I had to use two hands to hold faucet in place to change water temperature. No closet to hang clothes. No carpet in room. Cheap mattress. Heat did not work in room. Staff prioritized phone calls over in person customers. First room electronic entrance lock did not work, therefore could not get into first room. I would pass on this property in the future.

Loved the room, the coffee bar, and the location! Walking distance to so many great places to visit.

There were no negatives.

I choose this hotel because I like Hilton chains but in my opinion it’s not exactly Hilton style, just name. My particular room was big but absolutely not cozy, with partitions in a room,conditioner works very loud and directly to your head, there’s no slippers and robes, not shower caps etc, my room comes with free bottles water every day but I got it only once . Staff were very friendly and helpful
