Hotel was clean and room was lovely and spacious. The spa was beautiful and enjoyed a session there.

The staff member at check in was very unprofessional, she actually gave me incorrect directions to the room and had very little care in welcoming me to stay. The first room I checked into was a plunge room, which was damp, and smelled like mildew/ mould. I was moved the second day into a spa one bedroom which was much nicer. I was very rainy for our visit, so we didn't leave for first few days. The on-site facilities were really lacking, there's such an opportunity to make money by having a mini bar in the room, as well as decent food served on site and an open bar. The facilities that were there were rarely open and very basic. We ended up ordering UberEats multiple times and lots of people were sitting in the common areas drinking their own alcohol. There were also no towels by the pool, or free weights in the gym - just little things that could make a big difference to someone's stay

To be honest our stay has been unwelcoming with staff making us feel we are in a ghost town. When checking in, we were not told where anything was- pools, if there is a restaurant, how to get to our room, wifi, the bar - nothing. Simply told to give the credit card over and then ignored. Since, we have asked to book a cab as we are going to a wedding. Instead of giving us a cabs number or booking one for us which I assume a 5 star hotel is capable, we were told to only call the private charter company that was 4 times more expensive then when we called 1800 Cabs. On top of that, Where’s the vibe?! It’s meant to be a fun vibrant resort but honestly I feel like we are in their way and sneaking in the back of a friends house to go to bed. The staff have given us countless unfriendly encounters and we just feel uncomfortable. It’s such a shame.
