Leider laut von der Straße her, da Markt vor dem Haus. Sonst OK.

Hôtel dans quartier pas très bien fréquenté mais en plein centre . Réceptionniste pas agréable . Chambre qui sent le tabac froid (rideaux et dessus de lit ) et nous attendons toujours notre petit déjeuner …… soit disant le petit déjeuner était servi à partir de 6h30 mais nous avons attendu jusqu’à 7h15 sans personne et aucun accès possible à un buffet . Scandaleux . Jamais personne dans cet hôtel désaffecté …. Il y a un frigo.

L'hotel Catania Town tre stelle non solo non è un tre stelle ma nemmeno un hotel. No capisco come abbia ottenuto le 3 stelle, non capisco alcune recensioni positive che ho letto. Ho prenotato rassicurato dalle tre stelle, dalle foto delle camere e dalla posizione centrale e dai controlli che Hotelcom pensavo facesse, invece, arrivato sul posto ho verificato che l'unica cosa buona "vera" era la posizione centrale (anche se in zona mercato molto rumorosa), per il resto ho trovato una situazione e una struttura vergognosa, assolutamente non da hotel ma pessima anche come pensione di bassa categoria, con camere brutte, sporche e con forte odore di fumo, per niente corrispondenti alle foto.

Nonostante avessimo prenotato 2 mesi prima, siamo stati avvisati solo un giorno prima del nostro arrivo che, a causa di un errore del sistema di prenotazione, avremmo dovuto trasferirci in un'altra struttura dopo una notte. Ci è stato assicurato che il personale dell'albergo si sarebbe occupato di gestire il trasferimento per le 10:30h. Purtroppo non è stato così. Ce ne siamo occupati noi insieme a una signora delle pulizie (molto gentile!) e in più abbiamo dovuto discutere con il gestore dell'altro B&B (che per fortuna ci è venuto incontro) per avere la camera prima delle 14h. Abbiamo perso mezza giornata di vacanza (naturalmente non rimborsata) in chiacchiere e arrabbiature.

It's a small, cozy and friendly hotel located in the town centre of Catania. It's very easy to each from the airport (airport bus) and the metro station is just 1 min by walk. You can easily reach the Central train station by taking the metro. There is a Penny supermarket very close to the hotel. During the day, there is also a market just in the same street of the hotel building so you will see the movement of the vendors and get a closer look of the life of Catania! We had breakfast included and the hotel gave us vouchers to use in a nearly bar so it's very convenient. From the hotel, you can easily walk to the town centre to see the fish market, Duomo, and loads of restaurants. People in Catania are so friendly and nice. We enjoyed very much our evening walk around the main streets near Duomo where people were playing music and painting pictures. From Catania, we booked a day tour to Etna and we spent another day in Taomina. Taomina is easy to reach either by bus or train and it's worth to visit!

Not a hotel, but a floor in a building with a few a apartments - reception just a few hours (much less than was written) - no buffet breakfast (corona is an excuse for everything...)

Tutto bene, hotel carino e posizione ottima

Nice and roomy hotel room that easily accommodated our family of four. Cost from the airport is a flat €40 and from the train station it is €15. However if you are able to catch a Metro, the station is very close to the hotel. Supermarket, atm, McDonald’s is all located close by. Room is accessed via a bunch of keys and the front desk only operates until 9pm. We found reception very friendly, helpful and even organised taxi bookings for us. Can not provide a comment on the breakfast as we had to checkout at 5am which was a tad early for the kitchen staff. The room setup was two single beds and a family bed. The room also had a safe, lcd tv, refrigerator and tea making facilities. Good ample size bathroom and decent size shower. Location is good as the Main Street is just a short walk across and plenty of eateries around. Your typical European flea market operates right out your door in the morning and you can pick up pretty much anything.
